Third Person P.O.V.
Olivia woke up the next morning dreading what she knew the day would bring, knowing that it was one step closer to one of her least favorite things. Richie knew what was happening and didn't want it to happen either. It was one day closer to their parents coming home.
"Ugh! Why do mom and dad have to come home so soon? I just want like a year without them!" The young girl shouted.
"I don't know why, but I do agree with you. I don't want to have to deal with their bullshit at all, ever." Richie replied.
"Aren't you being too harsh? They are our parents after all."
"No, it's not too harsh. Do you wanna know why? Because they haven't been here to raise us for the last three years!"
"Okay Chie! I get it, but let's calm down, shall we? You're getting so worked up, and you can definitely tell that they treat you better."
"Okay, but I can tell that you are a completely person when our parents are not here. You're you. When we're with them, I don't recognize you. And I don't like it, I don't like her. "
"I understand, I don't want to do this either. But I have to do this just until they leave again, then I can go back to being myself! Okay?" Olivia states, taking a step closer to Richie.
"Okay Olly." He says while pulling Olivia in for a hug.
"Plus, they usually call before they start to head home. So, you are fine for now, at least."
The pair finishes getting ready for school and head off. Olivia is currently walking to her second to last class of the day, the only one that she doesn't have with her brother, Richie. Everything was going fine until Olivia's bully, Greta, walked up to her.
Olivia's P.O.V.
Ugh! Greta's coming, I don't have time to deal with her shit today. Or never for that fact. Let's just get this over with.
"What's your body count now? Fifty? A hundred? It's hard to keep track, since you only hang around boys." Greta asks, acting as if she's a news reporter.
"Hmm... I don't know, Barbie. How's your life? Oh wait, it's fake. And at least I hang out with my brother, but you can't because your mother left you alone with your dad after she saw how ugly you were." Olivia retorted.
Heh, good one. Maybe I am more like Richie than I thought.
"Okay, but at least I don't dress like that! What are those, boys' clothes?"
I looked down at the outfit I was wearing, yes, they are boys' clothes, but I don't care. They are the only things that I feel like myself in, and that's the only thing that matters.
"Bu-"
"At least she has more than a foot of fabric on herself, Olivia's right. You do look like Barbie." Stan responded with a tone as if he was looking down at her.
Yes! Thank you, Stan! You are the person I needed to come help me.
Greta walks up to me even closer than before. I can even feel her breathing, gross. But I am not going to let my guard down, especially to her.
"At least I am not a little slut." She says, finishing off the conversation.
I sit there for a moment in shock. I have always heard people talk about me and they would call me that, but I didn't care I wasn't ever in the conversation. But I have never been called that to my face before and it hurt. I could feel my eyes starting to water, but I blinked back the tears, not wanting to show any weakness.
Greta lets out a heavy breath, thinking that she had won this battle. Then she turned around and whipped her hair in my face. And let me tell you, there was so much hairspray in there it could probably cut like a knife.
Third Person P.O.V.
Stanley Uris is another member of the Losers Club, and Olivia's best friend. Her fighting spirit and his witty remarks make them a great duo. Plus, Olivia is the only one that goes bird watching with Stan. Everyone thinks that it is boring, but Olivia agrees with Stan and thinks it's quite interesting. So, they go out and do it together.
"Thanks for stepping in Stan, I didn't think I was going to survive that fight."
"You're welcome, Olivia. Plus, I wouldn't let Barbie do anything mean to you, you are my best friend after all."
"Thanks." Olivia replies with a smile. "How'd you come up with that reply? That was pretty good!"
"I truly just stated facts, I mean, did YOU see what she was wearing?" Stan replies with a chuckle.
"I mean I wasn't really paying attention to it. Wait, why were you looking? Do you like people who dress like that?" Olivia says giggling, and eying Stan up and down.
"No, I prefer people that are more laid back. People who don't care about what other people think of them, people who don't need to let people down in order to feel better about themselves." Stan continues while walking with Olivia to their next class.
"Wow, you got your type down! Do you know anyone like that? Wait, do you like anyone? If they ever hurt you, I swear-" Olivia says interrogating Stanley.
"Yeah, maybe I do. But that's none of your business." Stan immediately started to blush but tries to hide it. Because the person that he was talking to was completely oblivious that he had just described her.
The club went on with the rest of their classes for the day. The final bell had finally rung, and Olivia had to run to her locker before meeting the rest of the club outside. While she was still inside, Bill had devised up a plan to try to get Olivia on her own without her brother.
Bill, William, or Billiam, whatever you would like to call him Denbrough had been best friends with the Tozier pair since kindergarten. At the time, he was the only person that was able to tell them apart, even if they acted the same (which they always do.)
"Hey R-Richie, could I ta-talk to you for a s-second?"
"Sure, Billiam, what do ya need?" Richie questioned Bill back.
"S-Since I don't have a-any classes w-w-with Olivia, I d-didn't h-have a chance to a-ask her, b-but would it be o-ok-okay if she c-came over for a-a bit? Georgie really m-misses her." Bill said, trying to sell the story best as he could, knowing that it was all fake.
"Sure! But don't be trying to suck her face, get it? She's only going over to make Georgie's day, not yours. Got it?" He stated "turning on" his overprotective brother mode.
"Okay, ch-chill out. For G-Georgie o-only."
Bill couldn't believe that he had actually been able to pull that off, but he was so glad it happened. He knew that this might just be one of the best days of his life.
