"everything happens for a reason"

It seems like just yesterday. I was sitting in my small room. Writing story's about my dreams and what I want for my future self. I sat looking around the room. Mickey was gone I had my feet plopped on my desk and I tapped my pencil against my chin. I opened my laptop moving my journal aside. I got bored after an hour and decided to leave the house. O walked around and pulled my sweater closer to me. I wondered to a park. It wasn't the same one as before. This one had a little playground. There was several kids playing. Not many. I looked around until I felt the seat next to me shift. I turned to see green eyes. They stared into mine. I looked away feeling a bit awkward. Noticing I was staring I went into my shy stage. I was about to stand. "hi" I heard a British accent. I turned to see the same green eyes looking at me. "hello" I said. "do you write?" He pointed to my journal. I nodded "uh yea, I'm the co-owner of London's dream" I nodded looking at the journal clutched between my hands. He nodded "oh yea I've seen that magazine before, so you're Ali" I nodded "I'm Toby" I smiled knowingly. "Toby" he nodded. "do you wanna go to lunch" he asked. "oh um, I'm sorry but I have to get back to my apartment in meeting my friend" he nodded "ok well here's my number" "um ok bye" I said walking away. I looked down at the card and shoved it in my pocket. I walked back to the apartment thinking. Toby. That's really odd. I remember eighth grade I was obsessed with Toby McDonough from before you exit and I thought I felt a connection. And the endless amounts of quizzes I took. Like what will the name of your future husband be. It was always Toby. Coincidence. I dont know. But I couldn't wait to tell Mickey when I got home.
