Hey, Mickey here. Just writting about this perfect little dream world me and my bff Ali have going on in our heads. Something that may or may not ever come true. But we can still hope... and write. Here's my pov of what we both hope will happen in the future.

...

A whole new day awaits me and Ali. Going out and smelling the fresh air, seeing some beautiful sights, trying new and unique food, and maybe even going to visit Big Ben.

This morning, waking up was a little bit difficult for us, with the new time schedules and all. But somehow, we managed to get up out of our big, cozy beds, ready to explore the mysteries of London. And of course, write and take pictures for our magazine. But for now, we're going to relax.

"Breakfast is ready!" I yell to Ali trying to wake her up. She mumbles something I can just barely hear because of her being in her room. "I made crêpes today! They look really good! Now get up before I eat them all!"

She comes stumbling out of her room, her hair all curly and frizzy and in her green pajamas.

"I'm here, I'm here..." She says making a face, which quickly changes after she sees the food.

"So how did you sleep?" I ask.

"Alright. Except for not getting as much sleep as I had hoped."

"Well we gotta start the day sometime don't we." I say starting to shove a huge piece of pancake in my mouth.

We both sit at our small table eating our food, enjoying the new place we're starting to live at. I walk over to our white french doors and open them to let in a cool breeze. Before I sat back down, I went in my room, got my camera, and took a quick snap of Ali before she could notice what I was doing.

"No! Please not now. I just put some food in my mouth."

"That doesn't matter. I was trying to get a good pic of you eating your first breakfast here at our new apartment." I say justifying.

She gives me a look, threatening me with her eyes, but soon gives me a smile. A friendship that says 'I will hurt you, but I love you'. A "sistership", I guess you could say.

We both go back to finishing up our food before we get out of this little apartment and into the big London.

. . .

Ali and I both take turns taking a shower, then having a debate about what we should wear today. Dressing for the cold; a must. Dressing to look cute? If we can. I settle on putting on dark blue jeans, an undershirt, long-sleeve with a palm tree pocket (how ironic), a huge winter coat the color of mahogany, and a cute winter hat with a pom-pom at the top. Ali decided to wear dark blue jeans, a sea green colored long-sleeve, a big black winter coat with buttons, and a nice looking hat. Us both in our winter boots.

And we couldn't forget our makeup, especially me with my new cosmetology license. I always wanted to be a makeup artist, but I also have always loved taking pictures and wanting to travel.

My pictures are known for being bright and fun, but also for my monogram and sepia pictures I take quite often.

As we begin to finish getting ready, I grab my camera, tripod, and my different camera lenses, all carried in a big case.

Ali goes and gets her journal and pen, then we head out the door, on our second day of exploring London.

. . .

"Look! You see that big clock right there? That's Big Ben! It looks so much bigger in person doesn't it!?"

"It sure does." I say getting out my camera to take a few shots. Moving to the perfect spot to get a perfect amount of sunlight at the perfect angle is really hard to do when there's always a huge crowd of tourists everywhere. Its like you're at the beginning of a maze, and you have to find your way out and to the finish line to get a good spot. Why can't they all just leave???

I finally find the spot to take my pictures, and Ali goes to sit on a big rock to take some notes and write in her journal, both of us very concentrated on our work.

Every month we get good ratings on our magazine and excellent comments. Not to mention there's more and more people buying and reading it as the months go by.

"Got them!" I shout with success. "These pictures are definitely going on the front cover." I walk over to Ali to show them to her.

"Awesome. Your pictures always come out awesome." She says with a smile.

"And your writting is great too... and I still don't know how you do it."

After we finish up what we needed to do for the Big Ben article and pictures today, its time to enjoy the freedom. That includes trying some new food and walking around to explore this big place.

You'll never know what there is unless you look, and you'll never find it unless there's passion.

A quote I like to keep in my head, reminding me of how we got here. If we never looked for a job that we wanted, something fun and amusing to us, we would have never had found these jobs. If we didn't find the jobs, we wouldn't have had passion. And without passion, I don't think we would have been here.
