family visit

Wednesday's pov:

it was that dreaded time where I have to meet up with my parents who sent me to what I imagine is a real life version of hell and not the one I intended on going to. Normally there was nothing to talk about except to hear the stories of my parents and their latest victim which I think they do to spite me. However this time the colourful roommate of mine which they have met only a handful of times isn't just my roommate and Is my girlfriend.

This is not the problem, the problem is they were right they said I would enjoy my time here at nevermore and that one day id be just like them madly in love and as much as I can and will deny its true I am in love with enid Sinclair. Also this means I have to come out I haven't told them about the whole liking girls situation but I know that there wont be any quarrels between us.

Enid's pov:

I'm so nervous for visiting day as I know my mother is going to be disappointed in me as I haven't wolfed out yet but I do have some news that I have found a mate but again there not going to be pleased that its a girl and especially the fact that she's not a werewolf like me but I'm just going to push through it like every time we have one of these stupid visits. some times I wonder if its better if they don't show up than sit and get complained at for the entire weekend that their here for.

I also know that wens is nervous because she's going to tell her parents about us too being a thing and I know her and her parents aren't very open with each other or in contact very often since she joined nevermore, so its going to be a bit awkward if things don't go to plan and there will be more shouting and arguing on top of my parents and I don't want to see the Addams upset.

Wednesday's pov:

I stand waiting for my parents arrival and just as I get ready to exit the room, I hear a knock at the door and I open it. It's Enid's parents luckily I wave goodbye to my love and glimpse her a smile and she does the same in return. Minutes that feel like hours pass I hear the door knock again and I open to see my black and white family with smiles on their faces. I'm greeted with an unwanted hug of my little brother and the same with my mother.

we walk through out the schools ground and avoid all of the unnecessary family bonding activities. as time passes the weight of the information is drowning me and I'm crumbling with keeping this information. we reach a secluded bench by the lake and this is the perfect time to tell them "mother.. father I have some important news to tell you and I would apricate to listen fully before you ask me any more question.. umm well I am in a relationship and its with a girl" I say with nerves but also a relief of pressure. "that's lovely dear can we know who the lucky girl is or maybe meet her?" my mother says with a smile and it seems to be all good. "well about that it's enid my roommate she's my girlfriend and I'm as shocked as you are considering of her vile obsession of colour she's actually okay" i say trying not to blush. "ohh my little storm cloud we need to go talk to her we need to congratulate the news" my father says to me.

maybe this family weekend isn't going to be so bad after all I think to myself.

Enid's pov :

as I tell my parent the news my smile fades as I get a shouting from my mother as my father stays quiet and silently agrees with her. I storm off to my dorm in hope to see my girlfriend to comfort me but she wasn't there which means I'm guessing things went well for her which is good. I hear a knock at the door and I open it to my mother "can you just leave all you do is complain and tell me of how much a disappointment I am I don't understand why you come every time" I say in anger slamming the door in her face.

I start to breakdown and cry I just want to see Wednesday this is the worst family visit to ever exist I cant wait for everyone to leave and it can be normal again just me and Wednesday,
