Wednesday's pov:

This week my birthday is coming up and I have told no one in this school as it the worst day in the calendar the day where everything revolves around trying to make you happy although its not that bad as in my eyes it's one year closer to my death and I like that as a reminder. The Addams family don't celebrate birthday's or the majority of traditional western holidays, I think it should be that way.

As the day's pass I can tell something is going on behind my back as enid has recently been leaving the dorm for short intervals and then returning with bags, I assume she's clothes shopping hopefully there less colourful and she decides to choose a more muted colour pallet to wear. She also is being very defensive of her actions when I question what she is doing normally she will doing anything to talk to me about what she is doing.

Enid's pov:

Okay so I found out that tomorrow it's Wednesday's birthday and I shocked me because she never told me and it kind of hurt a bit that she knows everything about me and I don't even know her birthday so I did a little digging through social media and I found it. I decided to plan her a little party not a large one just me, Yoko, bianca, ajax, Xavier and Eugene. i told them they didn't have to worry about gifts as i went overboard with buying her things. Once she was asleep i began to wrap up her presents using my phone light and trying not to be too loud so i don't wake her up. once I'd wrapped up the gifts i clambered back into bed and fell asleep.

Morning hit and i woke up to the sound of footsteps through the halls as everyone was making there way to the dining hall for breakfast. I decide to wait to giver her the gifts until after the school day so i get changed into my school uniform and head of the get breakfast and attended my lessons for the day. They were so boring honestly i couldn't stop thinking about Wednesday all day. finally school was over and I sprinted through the halls to the dorm and I started to organise her gifts and I called my friends over Wednesday goes to the library straight after school instead of coming back to the dorm so we had at least 30 minutes to an hour to prepare. After 20 minutes with the help of a few others we'd finished decorating the room with cobwebs and black streamers across the room. I hear a set of footsteps coming down the hall and I signal for everyone to hide waiting to surprise her, the door open and we jump out "SUPRISE" we all shout in unison.

I look over at her and she just stands in the doorway frozen in motion, all of us look at each other not knowing what to do with the situation, I tell the others to leave and I will sort it out as I feel bad for wasting their time to help me. Once they'd left she walked over to her bed and put her stuff down before walking over to me. "happy birthday, i wan.." i begin to speak " how do you know that?" she says nearly shouting, "i umm i googled it because you never told me" i said to her slightly nervous. " i didn't tell you for a reason" she say gritting her teeth. " i'm sorry i didn't mean it" i say slightly tearing up. "well this time sorry isn't enough enid" she say's storming out of the room slamming the door. I stand in shock as this is the first time that shes raised her voice at me i sit on my bed and i begin to cry i really messed things up between us.
