Death can't stop me from going to School (DISCONTINUED/UP FOR ADOPTION)

Moon

That same night the moon exploded. I had just got home from my daily duties and was starting my homework. When I heard a explosion. I got up quickly summoned my weapon and looked through my window.

The moon was gone and into pieces. My eyes widened as my phone started going off with messages from assumingly Ren and the Reapers.

My dad knocks on my door and I put my weapon back into ring form and I answer the door.

"Yes father what do you need. " I ask calmly. He simply replies "continue to study ignore whatever just happened."

Of course he's not worried at all. I stop myself from scowling. "Yes Sir".

And before he walks away and I close the door he stops. "please correct father to principal and that better not happen again".

My face turns blank again. I messed up shit shit shit. "Yes Mr. Principal sir."

He nods. "good now back to studying".

I close the door and make my way to my desk and text Ren that I'm ok and everyone else. A moment later Grell sends a link to the group chat saying we are having a meeting.

I grab my headphones and click the link. Immediately there's loads of chatter coming from everyone asking questions and talking to each other. All the countries from every race is there. Thankfully we can all naturally understand each other.

Grell the amazing lady she is yells . "SHUT UP EVERYONE LET ME SAY THE OBJECTIVE".

While that gave me a headache at least not as bad as the others were giving me.

"Good now we are here to talk about the moon exploding. First all questions will be asked when I'm done .  Is that good. Nod if it's ok?".

We all nod in sync. "Good now one week before the explosion of the moon in Japan there was a explosion of a lab."

In Japan? Why was I not made aware of this?! "Here are the pictures of the event" she shows a slide show of different pictures of the explosion.

She continues"in that lab there was many casualties but that's not what matters what matters is what they were working on. According to our Intel the lab worked for the government on human experimentation."

That makes everyone in the call grimace. "They were working on making super soldiers."

The Greek Reaper raises his hand and Grell let's him speak. "That's impossible the only ones close to super soldiers is us because we are choosen by God".

Grell replies "I know but they were trying to do it with Anti matter.  It was a failure and the creature escaped. "

She shows a picture of a Yellow Octopus. "This destroyed the moon. Before he was a Octopus he was The Reaper."

We all gasp. To us the Reaper was the closest thing a mortal could get to a reaper. He was very powerful and did his job well.

"He was supposed to die in the blast but he didn't. Fuck he was supposed to be dead a long time ago. So we have a new mission. Probably one of the most important ones. We need to kill him."

Everyone looks left and right and I can feel them all look directly at me. "Shuu as the reaper of Japan this will be your job".

I speak up "of course grell I will do it. What's the current location?"

She speaks up. "We don't know but the moment he's in one location we shall send you. The details of the mission will come then"

"Yes ma'am" we all say

"Now get off go do your jobs and Shuu please do be careful get some rest I know you don't need it but still".

I blush a bit at grell treating me like a child. It's been a known fact that I was Grells favorite.

"Yes ma'am. Good night".

"Night Shuu" she says and before I get off I see the north American trio wave at me bye and Ligyun wave at me too.

I hang up and go to my bed to lay down. I think back to Karma and I wonder how he is doing.

This night has certainly been interesting. First I met Asano being very suspicious in a alley way now the moon has exploded.  When it happened I was in my way home then I heard a giant boom.

I bent down like we are supposed to do in case of an explosion but I never felt it. I looked up and saw that the moon had exploded. My eyes widened and I quickly made my way to the nearest Rooftop.

I look at it and it was beautiful. I know most would panic but the pieces of the moon slowly but surely falling apart looked amazing. I take a quick photo for later.

I laugh. This year is certainly going to be very interesting.  First Asano now the moon. I wonder if it's a sign for something interesting.

I get off the roof and make my way home again.

Before I go to sleep I see something in my backyard and I jump out my second floor window and into the backyard.

I see a crash sight and I get closer to it. I see it's a piece of the moon.

I slowly make my way to it and I pick it up. It's not very big only a couple of inches tall and wide but it's interesting.

I grab it and I look at it closely. I see that it's fine so I pick it up and hop back into my room.

After rummaging through a couple of drawers i get some thick string and some metal pieces. I put the metal pieces on both sides of the moon stone and since the top one has a hole in it I put the string through it.

I put the string with the stone around my neck and tie it up making it a necklace. I don't know why I decided to keep a piece of a disaster with me.
