13:04, Whistler's Rock

Dominic, Hitman, and the Brooklyn class are walking to Duality Sushi Bar.

As they walk, they pass destroyed building after destroyed building, and have to walk around craters in the street.

Helena looks around with a frown.

St. Louis puts a hand on her shoulder. "We did all we could. Nothing you could've done would change this."

Helena doesn't look any less sad.

Once they reach the sushi bar, they find it closed with a note on the door.

St. Louis reads it out loud. "Away helping with damages. Will be back tomorrow. -Y&Y"

"Well, that's nice that they went out to help clean up."

"Maybe we should do the same," Robin suggests.

Brooklyn nods. "I was just thinking that too. Let's go, shall we?"

Everyone voices their agreement, and they start looking for somewhere to help.

They come across a couple clearing rubble that has fallen in front of a store, apparently theirs.

"Hey!" Comic calls out, "Need some help?"

One of them looks up. "Sure, thank you!"

The nine of them and the owners clear the rubble around the entrance to the store.

Eventually, all of it's been moved to the side.

One of the owners dusts his hands off. "Thanks a bunch. Who knows how long we would've been there if you guys hadn't come along."

Helena smiles, and nods. "You're welcome."

Some time later, the group is taking a break when Yin and Yang spot them resting and walk over.

Yin just stands there while Yang thinks for a second, hand on his chin.

Then Yang snaps his fingers. "The six of you girls were at Duality yesterday, no?"

Brooklyn nods. "Yeah, we were."

Yang nods in turn. "Mhm. I remember you. Glad to see you out here helping."

He gestures at Peter, Dominic, and Monarch. "You their friends?"

Dominic nods. "Yeah."

Yang points in the direction he and Yin had been walking. "Anyway-"

Cutting himself off, he puts his hand back on his chin, deep in thought. "I'm forgetting something."

Yin sighs. "Making food."

Yang snaps his fingers again. "Ah, that's right. Thank you, Yin. We were handing out meals to people who needed them, but we ran out. We were just heading back to make more when we came across you."

"Anyway, we'd better get to doing that. See you later."

They all say goodbye, and the twins leave.

From there, the group helps clear rubble and assist with other things for a couple hours until they're exhausted.

Robin puts her hands on her knees. "Now I want a nap."

St. Louis nods her agreement. "I think we've all hit the end of the line. How are the rest of you doing?"

Everyone voices their exhaustion.

Dominic sighs. "Think we'd all better get some rest."

Peter nods. "Yeah, I can get behind that."

Later, Sicario has gone back to their barracks, and the shipgirls their dorms.

Evelyn flops down on her bunk. "Ugh, I'm beat. Might just sleep until tomorrow."

Robin yawns. "I hope they at least wake us up for dinner."

Peter just snores softly. He's already out.

Monarch's eyelids feel heavy. He gives in and lets sleep take him.

[Might be the last one for a while. Even though the chapters are really short, I currently don't have any drive to write this.]
