Nightmare

Y/NS POV:

I quickly dashed out of the burning school breathing in the smoke that made me dizzy, I tried to ignore my worry and the burning sensation in my throat that kept growing. I turned the corner and saw my boyfriend Ajax being engulfed in red and orange flames as he screamed for help

I tried to run to him but It felt like everything was slowing down. All I could hear ringing in my head were his screams for someone to help him

I quickly sat up from my bed breathing a little bit heavy as I kept a straight face, I looked around the room and saw my sister Wednesday working on her novel at her desk. I slowly sat up from my bed putting on a sweater and heading out the door

"I hope you're not going to your boyfriend for comfort." She spoke unsatisfied with me "Says the one that cried like a little baby when Enid got mad at them." I spoke back coldly "I hope you fall down the stairs on your way back." She spoke in her own way that means "be careful"

I hummed in response closing the door behind me not making a sound, I walked down the hallway wanted to see Ajax's face and confirm sure he's alright, I had to, I made no noise as I walked down the hall standing in front his door, I carefully opened his room door

He doesn't keep his door locked?

I thought as I entered his dorm which was pitch black, my eyes slowly got used to the dark as I looked over at ajaxs sleeping figure. My mask slipped a bit as I smiled slightly, I walked over to his sleeping figure watching him peacefully sleep. He was holding on to one of his pillows and was lightly snoring

I loomed above him quietly, his face started to twitch as he slowly opened his eyes. Once he locked eyes with me he sat up wide eyes "AH-" he went to scream but I slammed my hand over his mouth relaxing when he noticed it was just me "Even though I enjoy hearing people scream, now is not the time" I spoke board, I slowly removed my hand from his mouth "how did you get in my dorm Y/n?" He asked confused "It was unlocked, dumb on you if you ask me" I commented "Ok yeah-" he said shaking his head a little bit "But why are you here?, as much as I do love your little late night visits" he asked looking at me

I looked around the room a little bit as I nervously opened my mouth "I wanted to make sure you were ok" I spat out quickly, he smiled at me "Would you like to stay with me?" He asked "I cant believe your forcing me to stay with you" I spoke getting into his bed and laying down next to him, he turned to face me "You know you can't go if you wa-" I quickly cut him off "no."

"Ok then" he said with a dumb smile on his face, he slowly wrapped his arms around me as I stiffened under his touch "sorry" he whispered going to take his arms off me "no I don't care." I replied back. He slowly rested his head on my chest closing his eyes, his breathing slowed down as he melted into me. He was warm and inviting.

Gross.

I wrapped my arms around him looking at him face, he looked so peaceful when sleeping.

I have to make sure my dream doesn't become reality one day.

I touched his face with my hand gently making sure not to wake him, his face was warm against my cold hand. He started to slightly snore as his grip got tighter on me, I slowly start to relax starting to fall asleep again

"I deeply appreciate you Ajax" I spoke before closing my eyes feeling a warm sensation in my chest
