"Why is it so quiet?" I asked when I entered the practice room.

Sunghoon shrugged. "I think it's the fact we're being evaluated individually."

I frowned, "But that shouldn't change how we practice. We still have to work together."

"I'm not exactly happy about it either, angel." Sunghoon muttered, running a hand through his hair. "Have you learned the choreography yet?"

"Somewhat." I clicked my tongue, "The beats are hard to follow. And I'm losing motivation to be honest." I said with a small laugh.

"Want to practice together?" Sunghoon suggested.

A smile formed on my face, "Sure."

For the next two days, Sunghoon and I were practically glued together. During practice. Meal time. Breaks. We even shared the green room together. The only time he wasn't with me was when I would get some extra practice late at night Us being constantly together has earned a lot of teasing from the others. Not that it bothered me. But every time someone mentioned how cute we looked together, Sunghoon would get all flustered and slightly sulky.

"Ah, I'm exhausted." I grumbled, taking a sip of my water. Lately, I've been staying up late to practice, and have been going nonstop with practice. This was much harder than Into the I-Land and the stakes were higher. I wasn't going to waste a minute of the seven days we had.

Today was probably the worst day I've been having. Constant headaches and I felt like I was dragging myself like a sack of potatoes. I knew it was probably best to take a break, but the test was always looming over my thoughts. So I refused to take any unnecessary breaks.

"Noona, are you doing okay? You look pale." Jungwon commented when he saw me.

I shook my head, "I'm always pale. What do you mean?"

"No, I'm serious. You have eye bags under your eyes." Jungwon said with a frown.

"I'm fine." I waved a dismissive hand. I wasn't fine. But it'd be worth it in the end. Just a small sacrifice I'd have to make.

"You're not sick are you?" Sunghoon asked, walking over to me.

"No. I have no cough or fever." I insisted. That part was true.

"You're getting enough sleep right?" He cupped my face, examining me with worry in his eyes.

Before I could respond, Heeseung called us all to do a group practice. I felt Sunghoon's eyes on me the whole time as I dragged myself to my position.

Halfway through the dance, I felt my body giving out. It became harder and harder to move my arms and simply move positions. I tried fighting through it, as the song was only a couple minutes long. Three minutes, that's all I had to do.

But as we reached the last chorus, I couldn't take it anymore. I was about ready collapse right there and then. Without thinking, I broke away from the formation and stumbled against the wall.

"Soojin!"

My breathing became ragged as I slid down the mirror. My head felt fuzzy and my senses numb. I closed my eyes and rested my head between my knees.

"No hyung, it's okay, I got it. This isn't the first time." A voice said close to me.

I felt someone touch my knee, "Angel?" Sunghoon. That was Sunghoon. I hummed softly. "You overworked yourself." He said softly, grabbing one of my hands. "Do you want to drink some water?" When I didn't answer I heard him sigh. "Please?" I slowly nodded my head and opened my eyes.
