"Soo, are you okay? You're not looking so hot," Jake commented as we all started stretching for practice. Our FATE tour was coming up soon and our dance instructors wanted us to brush up on our old choreographies.
I glared at him, "Ouch."
"I'm being serious, you look pale... paler than Sunghoon. And that's concerning," Jake insisted but I just waved him off.
"Speaking ill about me, Jake?" Sunghoon asked, raising an eyebrow as he took off his hoodie.
"Nothing to worry about," I said, adjusting my hoodie, feeling cold chills run down my spine.
"YAH! RIKI!" We all snapped our heads around and laughed as we watched Niki started dragging Jungwon around who was screaming.
"DESERVED!" Sunoo shouted.
We all calmed down from our laughing and Jungwon started playfully fighting Niki and I felt a sharp jab in my throat. I covered my mouth and started coughing. My eyes stung as pressure built up in my face while I was coughing my lungs out. I quickly sat down and tried to breath.
Sunghoon hurried over to me and patted my back, "Woah, Angel," He brushed back my hair as I finally managed to collect my breath. I cringed as I wiped saliva away with my sleeve. "You, okay?"
"She coughed up half of her lung, I don't think she's okay, Sunghoon," Heeseung chuckled. "Was Niki really that funny?" He asked me, raising an eyebrow.
"Why is that a question?" Niki gasped, looking awfully offended making me smile.
I leaned into Sunghoon's touch, "I'm fine, just choked on my own air," Thankfully, our manager walked over and handed me my water bottle which I took graciously.
"You're warm," Sunghoon muttered.
"It's summer and I'm wearing a hoodie," I excused again, handing back my water, "Thank you."
"You good to practice, Soo?" Jay asked, walking over to the speaker to hit play. I nodded despite the dry and uncomfortable feeling in my throat. I probably should take a cough drop later since I have vocal training.
When our manager sat down again, he raised his eyebrow at us, mainly me, "Don't overwork yourselves, you need to be in top shape for the tour," he said sternly.
I nervously turned around and quickly took off my hoodie since it was getting warm in the room. The plan was to go through Drunk-Dazed all the way through Fever for the first hour of practice.
By the time we finished with Fever I was dripping in sweat and my whole body ached, which was worrying since I usually had a stronger stamina than this. I winced when I caught the light of the practice room, my head throbbed. I didn't wait for Niki to call for a break before I broke formation and hurried to grab my water and lay on the cold floor. "Noona, seriously, are you okay?" Jungwon asked, standing over me. "You're look horrible."
"Rude," I muttered, closing my eyes for a minute due to the lights.
I heard someone else walk over to me and sit down, "Angel..." I barely opened my eyes when my head started pounding again, "You are definitely sick," Sunghoon said, looking down on me with worry.
"I'm not sick, just tired," I muttered, sitting up.
"You said that last time and you ended up throwing up, noona," Sunoo pointed out.
I pointed at him, "That was food poisoning! Very different."
"Sunoo has a point, you always say you're fine and then you finally admit you're not fine when you're passed out or something," Sunghoon said.
