We Fall Inlove One Summer

Chapter 1

Everybody seems so busy in prepairing for the wedding of my cousin Kathy. And i
as a wedding planner or should i say organizer finish already my task

"Halaga? Are the stuff are all ready inside the van?" My mom use to call me halaga short for mahalaga because its the tagalog translation for my name precious

"Yes mom"

"Let's go. i'm sure all your cousins are waiting for you"

Today we are going to batangas like i said a while ago tomorrow is the wedding of my cousin Kathy

In our province we have a tradition that the groom and bride will dance the night before their wedding and the people will give them money by putting it on the clothes of the groom and the bride

An hour past and we finally arive. All the tables, the chairs, foods, decorations and even the videoke are already set. I can also notice that most of the people are already excited to see the future bride and groom but only one caught my attention the guy who wears denim polo and black pants with his eyeglasses on

"Did you know that guy?" I asked my cousin, mia

"Who? The one who's wearing the denim polo?" Mia replied

"Yes"

"He is bernard, ate Kathy introduced him to me a while ago" Mia replied

His name is bernard. For me, i simply notice him because he looks cool thats all

"They said he is a model and a dancer in their school" Mia continued

"He doesn't look like a model" i replied

"Wait.. why are you asking me this stuffs again?" Mia asked

"N-nothing" i replied

Mia and i decided to sang on the videoke because no one uses it

It took, one look 🎶

I saw him staring at us

And forever laid out in front of me 🎶

One smile, and i died 🎶

I saw him smiled at me

But i do need to be revived by you 🎶

I saw him walking towards us

"Stop singing! Your voice irritates my eardrum!" I've heard from somebody

So i stop singing and i look for the one who said that

I was shock when i saw bernard standing behind us

I stand quickly so no one can see the pain i felt because of what he said toward us

Almost all the people stare at us and i know all of them knows what happened

I decided to go to our room with Mia

I know Mia can notice how much i've been hurted

"Ate precious, stop thinking about that stupid guy okay?" I can see the sincere of Mia through her eyes

"Yes Mia, he's a stupid guy! I hate him" i replied

*Knock Knock*

"Go inside"

It's ate Kathy, i can see that she was also affected on what happened a while ago

"Halaga, don't mind bernard okay? He's just like that" ate Kathy stated

"I'm fine ate, don't worry about me" i replied

"Okay then if you have any problems or concerns don't be shy to call me okay?"

"Okay ate" we replied

We decided to sleep even if there's a party outside because tomorrow is a big day event, we need to beauty rest

I hate that bernard!

He's stupid!

He's a jerk!

And he's not even cute!
