Walking out the Z zone, Jimmy smiles at me, "now we got the big bad alphas out they way, let's move on to the vamps. I did do things a little backwards today, but I wanted you to feel how it feels to feed them, than we can compare toward the vampires. They are much easier to feed" he grabs the cart and makes his way to the elevator. I follow behind him.Arriving to the upper floors wasn't to much of a hassle, more of waiting and listing to the repeating elevator music. Jimmy starts to show me the ropes of how to feed the vamps. Some vampires prefer different blood types than others. Not like the scientists want them to be comfortable, it's more of healthy they are, more results we will get. Of course the blood has suppressants mixed in. A too strong vampire can lead to a whole lot of problems. Problems they don't need.
Watching Jimmy squeeze blood out a blood pack and into a bowl wasn't as disturbing as I thought it would be. It's kind of therapeutic in a sick sense. After he showed me that, we moved decided to take a lunch break. As we both sit in the staff room, I quietly snack on a sandwich he kindly offered to me from his lunch. "So.....um...I don't really know what else to train you on...so...we can just leave it like this...I guess you can go and feed them lunch...."Jimmy rubs the back of his neck "um, if you don't mind feeding them, the alphas I mean." I nod slowly getting done with the sandwich.
I get up dust off my lap from any crumbs, and make my way out the room and into the hallway where the cart is. Grabbing it, I make my way down back to Level Z.
Pushing my cart to a stop, I grab the slab of meat and pitcher of water. Setting them down, I open the slot and peek in. The Lycan is in the other side of the room. Sitting. He looks up and stares at me before turning and looking back at the wall. Seeming bored out his mind. I slide the meat through before pouring in the water. His ear flicks and nose twitches but that's about it. I sit there for a while, staring.
A low growl escapes him as he looks my way, glaring. I smile and wave. He huffs, slumping more down he starts to pick at his claws. A very human like gesture. I get up and shut the slot. I'll be lying if I say I wasn't disturbed.
Going back to my cart, I start on the other nine rooms I have to feed.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
Pushing my cart back toward the exit, I jerk startled by banging noise. As I roll my cart forward, it's get louder. I stop and look at the first door. A dent appears, before the door caves in. A groaning noise comes from the door. My eyes widen, *fuck* I leave the cart behind before I start sprinting, *fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck* a loud cry comes from the door before it falls with a heavy thump. I type in my pin before yanking the door open and running through.
I hear other bangs and groans coming from behind me, I ignore them all. Opening the last door, I run down the hallway before I see the button. Wasting no time, I slam my hand on the button.
The halls turn red as the alarms blare, "ALL EMPLOYEES THIS IS NOT A TEST EVACUATE THE BUILDING IMMEDIATELY ALL EMPLOYEES THIS IS NOT A TEST EVACUATE THE BUILDING IMMEDIATELY " running toward the elevator I tap the button repeatedly.
The doors open and I dive in, turning I jam the close door button. As the door close I see a huge black figure running my way. I starts to bang on the button. *shut Shut SHUT!* I mentally scream at the doors. The doors close shut, I sigh a breath in relief, the elevator jolts as I tilt sideways, almost falling over. I catch myself.
The elevator trudges upwards, before stopping on the T. As the doors open, I wished they would have stayed closed. Blood splattered all over the walls and floors. Paper thrown everywhere, which makes sense, pushing the alarm must have panicked the workers, which In turn made them forget to confide the supernaturals in their cells.
Running down the hallway, making sure I don't slip on blood or step on any...body parts.. I make it to fire escape. Pushing open the door, I step into the musty, dim lit, stairway. A boom goes off as the building rocks. I stumble and trip falling down, I barely catch myself. Holding onto the wall, another boom shakes the building, debris and dust fall from the ceiling.
Taking that my cue to leave, I start to jog down the stairs. Another explosion goes off as the top part of the building caves in. Stairs break and crumble, a scream leaves my throat as the stairs I'm underneath cracks and falls, I barely make the jump I attempt to get out the way. Falling and hitting the bottom. I grunt as I land on my back. I groan softly, I turn and roll on my stomach before getting up slowly.
A door creaks open as footsteps pauses, I look up. I freeze. My eyes stare into forest green ones with speaks of brown. A growl rips through his throat. "Grab the girl" he turns and continues walking down the stairs like the damn building isn't crumbling beneath our feet.
Another male walks through, about 5'9 dirty blond hair, and a lean but strong built. He smiles down at me. "A human? Ah you sick of Juvya aren't you alpha?" A grunt leaves the other male. "Well...." The man walks over "should I knock her out?" A irritated growl leaves the "alpha" "Noah" he growls.
Noah chuckles, a sharp pain radiates in the back of my head before it disappears, and I fall into a deep black abyss.
Heyyyy, um....I'm kinda pissed...I did this chapter about three times. First was me resuming what I had previously wrote, the second time was because Wattpad was acting a fucking fool, the third time was Wattpad acting a fucking fool again, I'm I the only one getting the pop up saying I'm offline when I'm not? If so please let me know. I had to uninstall the app only for what I said previously to fucking disappear. But other than that this chap is longer than usual.
