Your guild visit behind you, you return to walking the Dungeon Town streets with your two teammates. Koko strolls beside you, the petite cat girl's gait chipper. Irie looks a tad downtrodden, perhaps Koko's earlier 'another woman' comment still going through her mind. Like before, the streets are busy and filled with people. Slowly, your steps draw you forward, your shoes softly tapping upon the street's surface.
"You feeling OK?" you finally say, looking to the pouting elf.
"I'm fine," she mumbles in response, not really bothering to elaborate. Guess the elven woman doesn't want to talk about it.
The three of you continue heading further down the road, Koko pressing closer to you as you move along. The red-haired cat girl flashes a friendly smile at you, your pink eyes meeting her green. "So," she starts, her long red ponytail swaying, her tail swishing, "you doing good?" She presses even closer, her left shoulder touching your right.
"I-I'm good," you stutter, your cheeks flushing, your eyes still on the feline woman. In truth, you find it hard to look away from her. Koko takes the opportunity to move even closer to you, perhaps too close this time. Your blush deepens as the redhead's arm brushes up against your large bust. "W-Watch where your touching!"
Koko freezes, even her formerly swishing tail stops, her face going beet red. "I-I'm sorry!" she stammers, backing off as quickly as she can. "I didn't mean ..." She doesn't finish the statement, not knowing what to say, her face still bright red.
"You two want to get a room?" Irie deadpans, turning towards her friends. By this point, the three of you have come to a stop. If anything, you and Koko both go even redder. "More seriously, though, you don't have a place to stay yet, do you, Ako?"
"Not really," you respond, realizing that she is right. You actually could use a place to stay.
"In that case, why don't you stay at our apartment with us? It would be like our squad HQ. Is that fine with you, Koko?"
The cat girl blinked, her blush fading, an almost dreamy look to her green eyes. "Fine with me." She turns to you and gives an enthusiastic thumbs up. "What do you say, Ako? Want to be roomies?"
"Fine by me." You grin at the cat girl, and she grins back. The next moment, the conversation gets derailed by a sudden intrusive sound. More specifically, your stomach growls. "I guess I'm kind of hungry," you comment sheepishly, touching your pointer fingers together.
"Like something to eat?" Koko asks, giggling as she does so.
"It does seem like a good idea," Irie cuts in.
"So what are we having?" you query.
The tall elven woman brings a hand to her chin in thought. "That's a good question. What do you think, Koko?"
"I think ..." The feline woman glances up momentarily. "I'm thinking fish."
"We had fish last time."
"But I want fish."
"Too much fish will get you sick." The tan elf crosses her arms. "How about pizza?"
"That's fine," Koko pouts, casting her gaze downwards, a defeated look to her eyes.
"I'm thinking pizza with [Dungeon Fruit] topping," Irie continues with a content smile, the thought of the scrumptious meal making her mouth water. "That OK with you, Ako?"
"Seems fine. What's [Dungeon Fruit] though?"
Irie opens her mouth to answer, but a certain cat girl swiftly cuts her off before she could speak up. "It's this sweet blue fruit that grows in the dungeon," Koko happily explains. "You'll love it. It's delicious. It's also seedless. It's sweet, seedless goodness." She turns to the elven woman. "W-Why are you looking at me like that?"
"Why indeed?" Irie deadpans, glaring at the green-eyed cat girl. "Anyway, now that that's settled, let's head to the restaurant."
