Chapter 10: The deal

-Yelena pov-
I stand in the silence of the warehouse waiting for her. The lady that separated my sister and me. Taskmaster is going to die today. I am going to end her with my own hands.

I am going to end her life and watch it drain from her eyes. I am going to break all of the bones in her body. I am going to rip her limbs off OF HER BODY! I AM GOING TO MAKE HER BLEED OUT SLOWLY AND PAINFULLY!

"I see you still remember me" I turn and growl at the girl "I am not here as an ene~"

I cut her off by punching her and breaking her jaw. Fuck the plan that we had. I am going to end her life! I am going to end her life right now!

I see her disoriented and pull out my gun. I shoot her in places to paralyze but not kill. She yells and falls down to the warehouse floor. I grab her by the hair and smack her head into the ground.

"You took everything from me" I look at the blood pouring down her face and smash her head down again "You are fucked"

"Yelena!" I get tackled down and shuffle to see Peter above me while the others go to Taskmaster "We had a plan!"

"You had a plan" I pull my gun out again but he stands between us "Why not let me kill her? She has killed more than kingpin!"

"I made a mistake out of anger" He removes his mask and I see the tears in his eyes along with the lack of sleep "I have been tearing myself up every night! I HAVE NOT SLEPT IN DAYS! Yes you have training but I know you have regrets! How many of them do you see in your nightmares?"

"All of them" I look at my hands and then at the slumped taskmaster "Oh god"

"Give me the gun" I look at Peter as he holds his hand out "Please just give it to me"

"Sh-she took her from me" I shake as I aim the gun again "I need to finish this"

"Kill me then" Peter puts the barrel to his forehead and closes his eyes "Let me take her place"

I shake and drop the clip from the gun "No" I drop the gun and shake my head "I will not lose someone again"

"Thank you" I fall into Peters arms and he rubs my back "It is ok now Yelena"

I finally let myself breakdown in the arms of the man I can say I love.

-Time skip-Peter pov-
"Is she ok?" Yelena nods and I sits on the other side of the bed "She had a tracker under her arm"

"Kingpins tech" Kate sits beside Yelena "She had been bought but something made her switch to helping us"

"I did" We all jump up and turn to see Loki smirking "Hello everyone here"

"I hate this idea but love it all the same" A blonde man walks up beside him "We let you do this to give the TVA a destination between places to work on defeating Kang and some others"

"I chose you because I knew what you would do" Loki gives a chuckle "I have enjoyed all of it but this is where our adventure ends"

"You all have been given this universe as a thanks" The blonde guy pulls out a small phone like device "We just wanted to say thanks and that we will forever be in your debt"

I give a nod and they teleport out "That was insane" We all turn back to the girl when she groans and moves "She is waking up"

"To a bright light" She opens her eyes with a frown "Am I dead?"

"No but you are still on my shitlist" Yelena sighs and looks away "But I am happy I did not kill you"

"I needed a change of pace and figured you all could fix the assassin in me" She looks me in the eyes "My name is Antonia Dreykov and I pledge my allegiance to you Mr. Peter Parker"

"Just get better ok?" I walk out of the room and to the living room "She will be ok"

"Will you?" I shake my head after I decided to finally be honest with them all "We got you Pete"

"Thanks I will need it" The sirens sound and I put on my gear "Take care"

I ignore the calls as I walk out with my hands up. The police read my rights and I let them cuff me. I see the news cameras shorting as I get put into the car. This will be everywhere here soon.

But this was the right thing to do.
