Chapter 19: What if this is how it ends?

-Peter pov-
Everything is perfect and I rule the world. Nothing has ever gone better in my life. Sure the super powered pregnancy symptoms can get annoying but I love the girls dearly. I love the life I have been granted dearly.

I have been able to change what Parker luck is. I sigh happily and walk into the lab. I see a disc laying on my desk and pic it up. I put it into my computer and push play as I start working.

"Hey kid" I stop and look up to see it is Tony "If you watch this then you have done something so stupid that the universe has changed forever...Things happen for a reason ok? My death will happen for a reason but you have to go on, Mays death will happen for a reason but you must go on, and so many others will too ok? But never let the darkness win! I talked with Steven while in space and I found something...Mephisto is able to grant wishes and make your whole reality bend to us will. Just keep your eyes out kid and if anything ever happens find him or talk to Wanda ok? Wong is not bad either and kid...I love you 2000 cause 3000 is for Morgan..goodbye kid"

"Wanda got pulled in" Soemthing clicks in my head and I rush to the stones "Of course!"

I snap the reality stone and everything changes at once. I see everything how it truly is. My arm is damaged badly and I feel the pain finally. I also see that we are in a dark castle.

Someone made a deal with Mephisto and he is still alive. I rush out with the stone just to come face to face with green creatures. I get in a fight stance as they pull out guns. A green lady walks toward me from their line up.

"I see you finally broke free" She flips out a sword and points it at me "Mephisto has made a deal with us to put you back in by any means"

"Your world can never be returned truly and or leader may be dead or not!" She narrows her eyes "You help me and I can try my best to reset what I can!"

"I have no clue who made the original deal" She puts the sword away "We will meet again I guarantee it"

I watch the creatures move and I rush past them. I run toward where I knew the girls were at last. When I walk in I see Wanda laughing by herself. A dead Vision body is sitting beside her.

I slowly walk over as she is laughing. I grab the mind stone and sigh. I place it on her head and focus on the energy. Her laughter slows and her smile becomes a frown.

"Peter?" I nod and she looks beside her as tears form "Di-did I do this too? Did I cause this?"

"No" I hold my hand out "Someone made a deal with Mephisto"

"What is going on guys?" My body tenses and I turn slowly toward MJ "Peter? Wanda?"

"You" She tilts her head confused "You made the deal with him"

"Peter what are you talking about?" She starts to step away but Wanda stops her "Wanda that hurts! What about the baby?"

"There is no baby just like there is no one else but us" I see the look in her eyes "How did you find out?"

"Something kept happening when you would come past the coffee shop" Tears fill her eyes "You lost May, your friends, and everyone else! For what Peter?! Some people who hate you? People who will never know the real you? YOU DESERVE HAPPINESS!"

"LET IT COME TO ME BY ITSELF THEN!" My vision blurs some as the tears begin to fall down my face "You brought May back didn't you?"

"He said that would be too much" She looks away from me "I was given the symbiote to give you a glimpse of her and the others...how did you figure out?"

"There was a disc from Tony" We all look up as a white and blue Vision lands "Hello my love"

"NO!" We all get blasted away as a big guy lands and grabs MJ by the throat "This is not how it ends! THIS IS NOT HOW THE DEAL WAS SUPPOSED TO GO!"

"Fu-fuck your deal" I see him glare and MJ spits at him "Peter des~"

*Crack*

I watch in horror as MJ's limp body falls to the ground. I fall to my knees as it thuds. I crawl over and hold her in my arms. He killed the only part of me I had left that was real.

"You should have just kept the deal" I look up at him and see him smiling "She can always come back if you make a deal"

"You will never do this to anyone again" I load up the stones into a mega punch sending Mephisto flying "YOU DIE RIGHT HERE NOW!"

"You are no hero now!" I hit my chest and the nano bits make a suit as I get fire shot at me "YOU CAN NOT BEAT ME!"

"Maybe not alone" Wanda shoots energy around him and Vision shoots him away "But he is not alone after all is he?"

"How did you get here vision?" He points to my hand and it clicks "I can do this"

I close my eyes and brace through the pain. I make a snap and when I open my eyes I see the Avengers. All of them are here looking confused. They look at me and I take a deep breath.

"Mephisto has taken us captive and we have to kill him to return everything to normal" I look at them all "We understand?"

"Kid" Bucky cracks his knuckles and Fa..Captain America gets his shield ready "We are the Avengers"

I smirk and we all turn toward Mephisto. He pushes ruble off himself and stands up. Fear crosses his face as we charge. I want my word back in one piece.

We take the fight to him and work as a team. He gets some off us but we keep fighting. Cause our earth depends on it. Our lives depend on it.

The future of others depend on beating him. So that is what we do as the Avengers. We beat his ass into submission. He tries to crawl but I grab him with my infinity stone hand.

"I-I can bring her back" I look in his eyes and see the truth for once "Do not do this!"

"I do not care about that cause everything happens for a reason" I overload his brain and feel his life leave him "I care about getting everything back to normal"

I look at everyone and see them smiling. They will forget me coming soon. But that is ok cause maybe I am not worth remembering. But Spider-Man will be needed when he is and I will come.

For now...for now it is time to fix all of this.
