walking down the cold street after coming back from work late at night really wasn't something you loved doing, you made good money but the fear and anxiousness you felt every day walking home made you want to quit.

you kept your head down as you increased your walking speed so you could get home faster it was only after a few minutes when you turned around did you notice the person behind you, immediately your level of fear rose and you picked up your pace even more 'oh no, no no this has to be a coincidence, maybe they're gonna go a different direction. even better what if it's another woman, oh god please be another woman tonight is not the night I wanna get kidnapped'

you decided to take a right turn after walking down the street for a few minutes you turned around 'no fuck please' your heart was racing fast "oh god.." you mumbled under your breath, taking another right turn you decided you needed to walk even faster pulling out your phone

you opened up your phone and went to your messages, messaging everyone you knew

'hello, are you awake I'm scared I'm being followed can you call me my phone is at low battery' as you continued to speed walk you frantically checked your phone to see if anyone messaged 'of course not, just my luck' you thought turning your head around once again except it looked like the person came closer 'no no no! SHIT' where could you go? looking around you looking for public places. that's when you saw it was a private bar you recognized it from when you and your friends went bar hopping and didn't realize it was for VIPs only.

you started into a light jog quickly glancing behind you only to see the person also jogging towards you that's when your heart stopped and you fully sprinted over to the bar stopping in front of it you caught your breath "ma'am I'm afraid you can't come in its VIP only" "yes I know but I need help please there's someone following me" you said still out of breath turning around you looked to see the person had slowed down and was watching you "no can do ma'am" "can I at least call an uber or something?" you begged "I'm sorry there's nothing I can do" he said shrugging "so if I get raped and killed its not your fault, dude just let me call someone or a fucking taxi I don't want to die" "ma'am I already told you there's nothing I can do I'm sorry, you'll have to go somewhere else"

"fucking unbelievable," you said "yo," a deep voice said gaining your attention you turned around to see a group of men with a few women "she clearly needs help why won't you let her in?" the male with long curly hair asked "w..well sir its VIP only, you come here often so you should know that," the bodyguard said clearly looking scared 'who are these people they're really intimidating' you thought to yourself looking up at the taller man who was defending you.

letting out an annoyed grunt he looked down at you, it was almost like you forgot where you were when you looked into his eyes you didn't even know him yet he was so en-capturing. he had also seemed to get lost in your appearance he cleared his throat before letting out a "she's with us then" your eyes widened in shock 'he's actually helping me' you thought, most people wouldn't bat an eye but he seemed different.

swallowing the guard let all of them in before you trailed in after but not before taking another glance behind you, the person still there looking at you. you hurriedly made your way in almost bumping into the kind man who saved you "you okay?" he asked slightly concerned "yes I'm okay, thank you so much for saving me I don't know what I would've done without your help," you said looking up at him and thanking him "Nah, it's not a big deal I only did what lost of people should do," he said dismissing your thanks you looked around 'where did his friends go?' you wondered "they went to a table," he said almost like he read your mind
