"Fuck" you said dread lacing your voice as you looked down at the piece of plastic containing two pink lines 'what am I supposed to do?' you asked yourself 'what am I supposed to tell Ruby?' a swarm of thoughts came over you as you sat on the bathroom floor of your shared apartment.
it's not exactly like you could hide this... or could you? you planned on waiting to tell him scared of what he might say just as you were about to call your friend to help deal with your situation you heard the front door open and a voice call out "I'm home" Your heart jumped out of your chest as you threw the pregnancy test in the garbage and covered it with a tampon wrapper praying to god it wouldn't be seen by your boyfriend.
you opened the bathroom door and walked into the foyer before grabbing your boyfriend's jacket from him and hanging it up "Welcome home, how was your day?" you questioned placing a kiss on his cheek, he shrugged "It was okay, boring as usual glad I'm home though, what about you?" "well mine was-... it was boring, I missed you" you replied hoping he wouldn't notice the hesitation in your voice. "I know it's a bit early but what do you want for dinner?" you asked trying to distract him from realizing that something was wrong.
he stood quietly for a minute thinking before answering "I dunno, what were you thinking?" "oh I wasn't really sure, we could go somewhere or we could stay in and order?" you suggested "Where would we go if we went out?" he questioned walking to the living room and siting down "We could go to that place you really like," you said copying his movements and sitting down next to him. he thought for a moment before slowly nodding his head "sounds like a plan"
you stood up and began walking into your bedroom "Where are you going?" he questioned "to shower" after you made it to your room you pulled out your phone and began messaging your friend
Y/n: Fuck fuck fuck, I'm freaking out, message asap!
V: Omfg girl what did you do now?!
Y/n: so, I'm pregnant, and idk what I'm gonna tell the bb daddy lol!
V: lol! girl how long have you been with him again?
Y/n: fuck almost two years now, but still.
He's gonna leave me!
V: girl ur so overdramatic, just ask him what he thinks abt kids before you tell him, simple!
Y/n: what- are.. be for real, he's gonna fucking know
V; I mean it'll be fine, he loves you, and you love him what's the issue?

sighing you put your phone down on the nightstand next to the bed before making your way to the bathroom to actully shower, after about thirty minutes of having an existential crisis you got out and began choosing an outfit for later that night.
As you began dressing you looked at yourself in the mirror, then your eyeline fell down to the reflection of your stomach 'I'm excited that there's gonna be someone growing in there' you thought to yourself, just as you had finished getting dressed, Ruby had come into the room, he walked behind you and rested his face in your neck "hello" you called softly turning to face him "hm" was all he let out before kissing you "you ready?" "One sec i gotta go to the bathroom" he said before making his way into the bathroom
