Jungkook was walking along the beach the next day, and what he saw there shocked him.

He remembered the stick Lalisa had used to draw a cat to "cheer" him up on the day they had landed on the island. The outline of the badly drawn feline was still slightly detectable even though the waves had thoroughly cleansed it.

He didn't hate cats. He liked all animals, and cats are just one of the other thousands.

JK was just more of a dog person. His family has a maltese named Gureum back in Busan. He really missed that dog. Back in 2014, he tried asking his hyungs if he could let Gureum stay in their house with them, but they sadly disagreed.

It seemed that they thought that there was not enough space for the jumpy maltese in their tiny dorm, plus all of them were very busy to take care and keep company for it. Dejectedly, Kook had gone back into his room only to scroll at more pictures of his dog.

Jungkook turned away from the cat to clear his thoughts. Something had caught his attention.

Half buried in the sand, a black object was sticking out of the ground.

Curious, Jungkook knelt on the soft floor and sifted away the sand that was covering it. To his surprise, it was a phone, but it wasn't his phone.

He remembered leaving it on the table with the rest of the 1997 liners before disaster struck.

The cover was filled with stars, but in the corner, he could make out a tiny nametag.

                  It said: MANOBAL

Jungkook didn't know much about Lalisa. To the extent that he didn't even know her last name.

Though it was still pretty obvious that this phone belonged to her. He picked it up and tried to turn it on.

                 The screen stayed black.

                 "Darn pho-"

                 "Jungkook, Merry Christmas!"

                 "What-

"Wait, is that my phone?! OMG, you found it!!", she tackled him to the ground and slipped the phone out of his grasp.

"Hey! Be patient! You've now gotten sand all over my hair."

                 "It's Christmas!!"

                 Kook stared at her dumbly.

                 "Already?"

"Yeah! Duh, we've been here for almost a month now. And you should stop bossing me around-"

"When have I ever bossed you around?!"

"Ever since we got on this island!"

                 "..."

"I should be the one telling you what to do. I'm older!"

                JK scoffed.

                "No you aren't?!"

"Oh yes I am! Wanna bet?!", Lalice smirked.

                "On what?"

"I don't know. Let's just say, whoever actually turns out to be older gets to make the younger do a dare", Lisa's wicked smile almost made Jungkook swallow the bile rising in his throat.

                "What dare then?"

"Let's see when the time comes!"

"A..lright, bet!", Kook wanted to fall off a cliff. He almost stuttered!

"Eehee!!", Lalisa squealed. Her enjoyment immediately fell into shock as JK suddenly clutched his head and groaned deeply.

                "Jungkook, are you okay?"

                "I-I'm fi- AUH!!", he yelled.

"Stay right here, you're going to be fine! I'm going to fetch Lucas and Margaret!!"

But before she could get up, Kook pulled her hand and she fell down with a thump next to him.

                "N-no! S-stay h-here!! Don't l-lea- ahhhhh".

Lisa stared at him in panic. Jungkook was freaking her out like last time and she didn't like it. She messaged his head, trying to soothe the pain as he writhed on the golden sand.

Suddenly, the boy fell still and unconscious.

"Jungkook, stay here and don't move!"

Lalice got up and made a beeline through the forest and to the bungalow. She almost had the whole island memorized now.

"Lucas-ssi!! Margaret-ssi!! Jungkook is hurt!", Lucas immediately appeared from behind the kitchen.

                "Show me!"

Lisa led him all the way back to Jungkook. But once she got there, she was surprised to see him sitting up and looking around.

"Ah, Lisa, there you are! It seems like I kinda fell into a small nap, so you've got nothing to worry about!"

                "Um, okay-

"Are you sure, Jungkook? Does your head hurt or something?" Lucas interrupted.

"No, I feel fine", Kook stood up and walked closer to Lalisa. She frowned as JK ruffled her blonde bangs. Was it just her? Or was Jungkook being.... Weird?

"Uh, let's go back then? Apparently, Jungkook found my phone buried in the sand here so I guess we could try turning it on?", Lisa rambled on to clear her mind.

"You had your phone?!" Lucas's mouth dropped.

"Yeah, gosh how could I forget? I'm so dumb", Lalica grumbled.

"You aren't dumb", Kook interjected. Oh, but actually, only a few hours ago, he would have completely contradicted what he just said.

"B-but you practically hate me!", Lisa couldn't help saying. Lucas shot them both a disapproving look.

"I don't hate you! In fact, I want to be your friend!"

Lisa gaped at him. All her predictions were true! Something did happen back at the yacht! But what?!

"D-did you lose a memory or something?!", came out of Lalisa's mouth without asking permission from her brain. Then another loud thump was heard as Jungkook collapsed behind them again.
