Here's a poem about why being a woman is hard:
We're told to be soft and gentle,
But expected to be strong and independent.
We're praised for our beauty and grace,
But judged for our appearance and weight. We're told to be kind and caring,
But our emotions are often belittled and ignored.
We're paid less and passed over,
Despite the same skills and effort as our male counterparts. We're objectified and sexualized,
Our bodies treated as public property.
We're often the targets of violence and abuse,
Yet expected to forgive and move on.Being a woman is hard,
But we are so much more than the labels and expectations placed upon us.
We are complex and multifaceted,
With strengths and weaknesses, just like everyone else.
So let's embrace who we are,
And stand together, strong and proud.
