"Friend"

Here's a poem about a toxic friendship:

I thought you were my friend,
Someone I could trust and confide in.
But now I see that I was wrong,
Your words and actions, toxic and unkind.

You bring me down, with your negativity and drama,
Leaving me feeling drained and drained.
You use and manipulate, taking without giving,
Leaving me feeling used and taken for granted.

I've tried to make things right,
To mend what's been broken.
But you refuse to see,
That our friendship is a one-sided token.

So I must let you go,
For my own well-being and sanity.
I deserve better,
Than a friendship filled with toxicity.
