Alright, one little note. Chapter 25 and this one are my little Christmas gift from me to you. The day I'm uploading this is Christmas Eve because of time zones, it may be Christmas Day for you, but hey, if you don't celebrate you just got two chapters in one day.
Kyoko POV:
I kept running hearing gunshots in the distance, I slowed down after a while not knowing where to go. My phone buzzed, it was Maki calling me again. She asked me where Kurashi and I were. I answered that a man in black as Makoto described attacked us but he yelled at me to leave.
I told Maki to tell everyone to turn on their location so we wouldn't need to make so much noise. I was able to see everyone's location except for Kurashi, Makoto, and Satsujin. It turned to be that they were not so far from me I walked towards the blue dot on my screen to meet up with them. I saw Shuichi and Satsujin walking and I ran towards them. I guess I scared Shuichi from the noise because he fell. Maki jumped out with her gun but stopped when she saw it was me and not a man in black
"Jeez you don't need to jump at something every time theirs noise... or when this guy falls" Satsujin said pulling Shuichi
"I only responded quickly. We need to find Kurashi now." Maki said in a stern tone to him
"Why do you have that.... Lavender girl." Satsujin asked
"Kurashi gave it to me.. when something went wrong. No more questions." I said
Shuichi got up and we started walking again, still no one knew the layout of this place. I turned on the device to see how long it'd be until we were able to use it again, I sighed when I saw the countdown at two hours. When We found the room where Kurashi found the files Maki looked around to make sure no one was there.
"We might be closer, we're back at the room before we were chased." I said
"You weren't being chased it came after me and Shuichi, but he's a slow runner I had to grab him!" Satsujin said
"You grabbed my waist to make me go faster..." Shuichi said embarrassed
We began walking again looking at every turn to find a familiar landmark. Every time we heard walking or any type of noise that didn't come from any of us, Maki pushed Satsujin in front to check it out with his singular carrot.

7:41 pm
We've been in the underground for an hour now, everyone began to get tired and someone had to console Makoto over the phone that we were fine. I suggested to the group that we should all spilt up. Shuichi disagreed as he was the only one that wouldn't be able to defend himself so he went with Satsujin again. Maki laughed at Satsujin holding his carrot as they walked off.
"Now that they're gone should we discuss it?" I asked
"Discuss what?" Maki said
"You didn't hear laughter?" I asked shocked
"No? None of us heard laughter down here" Maki said
"I think we're being watched." I whispered
Maki looked at me in suspicion because I was the only one who heard it.
"When did you hear laughter down here?" Maki questioned
"I heard it as I was running away from Kurashi being attacked. No one was behind me and I could tell because I saw and it sounded close." I said looking at her
Maki looked at me and then scanned the walls. I took out my flashlight and flashed it where ever she looked. At the end of the wall hung a camera being overtaken by mold a small speaker was connected.
