Moving Forward

Chapter Ten

I grab my hair straightener and makeup bag and run back to the bathroom. After I turn it on I start on my makeup. I but on some mascara and a little eyeliner for effect.

I put some red lip stick on my top lip and rub it into my bottom so it looks pink. I start to do my hair so that it curls.

When I finish I call Mark. He comes into the bathroom and looks me up and down.

"Do I look weird" I ask and he chuckles.

"You always look weird" he says and places a small kiss on my lips.

I wake up today with the worst headache and the slightest memory of what happened at the party. I slowly get up and head to the shower.

Looking down I see the bruise on my arm. I get out I go into my closet and find something to wear. I pick out a pair of black shorts and a black crop top with a kittens face on it. I but concealer over my bruise and walk out my room.

I grab Benny's leash and walk down stairs. I find him in the living room sleep next to Tiger. I walk farther into the room and there heads pop up. I but Ben on the leash and walk outside as Tiger follows.

I hope Mark doesn't find out about the bruise he would kill me for hiding it from him. Then he'd kill whoever did it to me. I knew I shouldn't have went but I didn't wanna stop him from having fun.

Maybe I should say I just bumped the wall or something. Ughh I don't know anymore ill just think of something when the time comes. Yea that's what i'll do. I silently argue with myself as i walk down the street.
