Sky never again brought up Anthony but I can tell she will as soon as it's just us two. It also looked like something else was playing on her mind but she wouldn't talk so I left it.
it took us about 3 hours to get to the beach house. Luckily it will only take us 5 minutes to get down to the beach and there is a good distance between the other houses.
It's June so we didn't expect much people to be here but to our dismay it seemed loads of kids were already out of school. the beach was crowded except for our area by our house, thank goodness.
We each found our room mine being at the back of the house but by far had the best view of the beach. A bug Pom tree was in the way partly but other wise it was gorgeous, with blue clear water, part of the road, and someone's house. I was enjoying the trip already.
You can rent a lot of the beach houses in this area all year long. Sky's mom found this particular area from her friend who normally rents a beach house half of the summer. Needless to say I think we will be back here and for a longer term next time.
"Hey how's the room?" Nath enters.
"It's spectacular!"
"Good, my room has a lovely view of the neighbors bathroom," he makes a disgusted face.
"Ha! Glad I didn't get that one!"
"Yah but you get the smallest bedroom and bed."
"So? At least I won't be spending my life in the room," I reply sarcastically.
"Glad to see your humor returned."
"Oh shut up, lets go downstairs and see if anyone is up for the beach."
We walk through the hall down into the living room where everyone is sitting.
"I'm gonna go to the beach if anyone wants to join," I simply state.
"Sure, I'm up for it," a happy Delaney replies.
"Same here," says Skyler.
"We will come to," Kyle smirks. "Maybe we'll meet some cute girls."
"Funny," Sky says cooly while walking up the stairs.
We all leave it there and go back to our rooms to get changed. My swimsuit is two piece. My top has two stringy straps that tie around my neck and a thicker one around my back. Its light blue with white and pink flowers. My bottoms are a solid light blue and covers enough. I grab black flip flops with pink, white, and red flowers. I pack a small bag with sun screen, a towel, sunglasses that match my shoes, and extra hair ties. To finish my look I like all my hair on top of my head into a messy bun.
"You look cute," Delaney says when i enter the living room.
"Thanks I love the floral bathing suit," I tell her and I have to admit her swim suit is really cute but the main color is black, I would want blue.
"Thanks."
Sky entered the living room and to no ones surprise her swim suit is slightly a darker shade of blue than mine and with black traps for the back and neck. Her bottoms are a black with the sides the same blue and as top.
"That's a cute swim suit," I remark.
"Thanks, but you two's swim suit is cuter."
"Nah," Delaney says.
"Whatever. Where are the guys?"
"Getting us a spot you two took forever," Delaney states.
"Sorry I couldn't find my glasses," I say.
We walk through the living room and through the patio door. Immediately the heat reminds me we are at the beach not at someone's house like we usually would be.
The Florida sun beats down on us as we crops the street. The soft sand greets me and the sound of crashing waves with people laughing, screaming, and music fills my ears.
"This is awesome!" Delaney states for all of us.
We find the boys sitting down on the beach with two pretty girls. Their tan skin resembles many months of the sun and their blonde hair looks like waves.
"Hi," they smile up at us and we happily return the gesture.
I set my bag down while the other do the same and sit on the golden sand. I'm excited to go in the water but I didn't want to go alone so I waited till Delaney asked us. I agreed and we set off towards the water.
"You know I never thought I would meet the legendary Sam," Delaney chuckles.
"What do you mean?" I ask with a confused expression.
"Oh come on! Skyler and you are the bestest friends I've ever seen, I even knew her longer than you."
"Wait are you jealous?"
"Oh no," she reassures me
