"Good morning," I call walking down the stairs.
"Morning Sammy," Nathan calls back.
"Good morning," a chirpy Delaney brightens up the room.
"Good morning," Kyle says between yawns.
"Kyle, it's 9 in the morning it's not that early," Sky gives him an annoyed look.
"Are you used to sleeping in till noon on the weekends?" He fires back.
"No, but at least I do something with my life then sleep."
"So what's for breakfast?" I ask trying to break their bickering.
"Hmm," Nath says looking through the cabinets, "well there's cereal, cereal, and cereal. Which would you care for?"
We all laugh at his teasing seriousness.
"Wow that's a hard choice, I'll have to go with cereal!" I giggle.
"Really?" A frowning Kyle answers, "i would've wanted the cereal."
"So what are we gonna do today?" Sky asks clearly annoyed.
"Dunno, let's figure something out after breakfast," Delaney replied.
--
After breakfast, we get dressed. The boys are going to the beach while us girls are heading down the street to the shopping area. The shopping area is cute and has many tiny boutiques, and some big shops. Definitely a tourist attraction area.
Delaney squeals, "Ohhh lets go into that one with all the summer clothes."
We happily agree. The shop has swim suites, sunglasses, tank tops, flip flops, sandals, hats, and shorts. It also consists of sun screen and some snacks at the register.
We browse through the clothes. Delaney finding a few shirts and tanks along with 2 shorts. I looks through the sunglasses and find a cute blue park with square lenses. I decide to buy them with a cute tank. The shorts are supper cute making me buy a pair.
"Sky, have you found anything? We've been through 5 shops surely you've found something," I ask her.
"Well I got a pair of cute sandals," she adds with a shrug.
"Sky!" Delaney and I complain.
"You have to buy some clothing!" Delaney protests.
"Like what?" She complains
"There's plenty of shirts here and shorts, not to mention accessories," I tell her.
"Fine I'll but a tank and sunglasses."
"Yay!" Delaney and I high five and pay for our stuff.
By the time Skyler has found 'the perfect tank top' we've wasted 30 minutes.
"C'mon it's almost noon and I'm starving!" Delaney complains.
"Let's go to a cafe," I suggest.
Sky shrugged and Delaney nodded in approval.
We walked in silence until we entered a small cafe. It was like a smaller, less popular, cuter version of Starbucks. I ordered a small caramel frap while the others ordered Americanos and an Expresso. I also got a sandwich from the cafes food section. Delaney just got a cookie and turkey sandwich and Skyler got oatmeal.
"Oatmeal?" Delaney asked in disbelief, "but it's not breakfast."
"Well maybe I wanted breakfast food," Sky snapped. Delaney and I exchanged a look both of us wondering what the hell was with her today.
