Harry took her all around the school; he even took Lexie out to the quidditch field which gave them a full view of the stone castle they were lucky to call home for the next few years. He grabbed Lexie’s arm and pulled her to the middle of the field, she looked up at the bleachers. They shined in the sunlight and there were so many seats, but they were separated into what looked like four sections. It then dawned on Lexie that they were probably divided by the four houses. Lexie laid down in the grass, watching the clouds pass by, she was slightly nervous at what was going to happen that night. She didn’t know what house she was going to be sorted into, but she hoped it wasn’t Slytherin.
Lexie hoped that she would at least land a spot in Ravenclaw if not Gryffindor; she hoped she would be sorted into Gryffindor with her twin brother.
“So who was the red head in class that you were staring at?” She asked Harry.
His face immediately turned pink and he tried to act indifferent.
“What red head?” He asked, in an almost perfect façade of a calm voice except his voice cracked in the middle.
Lexie laughed and shook her head, “Really Harry? The one who sat a few rows in front of you in class. The girl that had you drooling with this dreamy expression on. That red head.”
Harry glared at her, “Shut up Lexie, its nothing.”
“Nothing? It sure didn’t look like nothing.” Lexie raised her eyebrow at him.
“Let it go Lex.” Harry scolded.
Raising her hands up in defeat, Lexie grinned and said, “Okay, okay. I’ll stop.”
Harry just shook his head at her, in total disbelief that his twin sister was poking fun at him already. He knew Lexie would fit right in with all of his friends.
It was then when Harry noticed a group of people came onto the field from the back entrance of the field. They were dressed in the black robes that everyone was made to wear but their scarves were green and grey.
Harry hissed in disgust by the fact that they were Slytherin’s but what caught Lexie off guard is that the familiar white blond haired boy was in the group.
Lexie sucked in a breath and turned around, even though they were hundreds of yards away the attraction was still there. It was so clear that it was almost visible in the air, and if Harry wasn’t so ignorant to the fact his sister and his enemy were clearly matched together they would all be screwed and Draco would be hexed.
Harry glared at the group that kept getting closer and closer to them; Draco swept his eyes over Harry and right onto Lexie. It was a battle between grey and green.
Draco ended up winning, because Lexie looked down to the ground with a flushed face very similar to the shade Harry had on just minutes earlier when talking about the red headed girl.
“Potter.” Draco spat out to Harry.
“Yes, Draco?” Lexie replied slyly, trying to contain the smile that was fighting to appear on her face.
Draco flared his nose out in slight annoyance but if you looked closely there was amusement dancing in his stormy grey eyes.
“She calls you Draco, Draco?” A dark haired girl spat out in confusion, with a hidden lace of malice.
“Is there a problem Pansy?” Harry asked the girl in annoyance, and sticking up for his twin.
“Ew, Potter I was so not talking to you.” Pansy said while scrunching her nose up, all as a show to impress Draco. Too bad he was a little preoccupied with the girl in front of him.
Draco was staring at Lexie with his smoldering eyes, begging her to look at him just once more. It was like a drug to him, Lexie in general. And to be frank, it was getting out of hand especially since they have only talked once and that conversation didn’t exactly end well.
Pansy and the other girl who was flanked by these burly boys that stood like bodyguards for the whole group, stood whispering to each other.
The girl with black hair stalked over to Lexie and shook both her and Draco out of the trance they were in.
“I am Louise Cockcroft and you are?” Louise asked but it came out as more of a demand.
“Lexie Potter, Harry’s twin.” She explained softly.
Louise’s eyes widened as she was caught completely caught off guard, she turned towards her best friend Pansy and hissed, “Did you know he had a twin? Why didn’t you tell me?”
Pansy shrugged her shoulders and played innocent, the truth was that Pansy knew since she had the same class as Harry and knew when Hagrid told the class. She just never remembered to tell Louise.
“Sorry Lou-Lou, I forgot.” Pansy apologized.
Harry choked back laughter at the two girls in front of him, but knew if he even let out a sound that even resembled laughter he would be eaten alive.
Since the attention was off Lexie and Draco, Lexie used the distraction to escape. Draco followed her naturally, not wanting to deal with the bickering girls and the other twin.
Lexie made her way to one of the sets of bleachers that surrounded the quidditch field. She walked all the way up to the top seats, and sat down patting the seat next to her for Draco to sit.
He sat down and took in a deep breath,
“Lexie…”
