It had been four days since Alexanders first and last encounter with the captain of the Rose of Neptune. Midas, the cimson tigershark. A strange man with many faces full of different expressions that could change within the mere split of a second. In one moment, he was a smart, cultivated man with best manners shown, lots of battle experience and a big crew under full controll. But then you dare to blink and a menace to society, a man covered in spatters of blood would appear infront of your eyes, laughing like a maniac about the fact he's holding a gun to your head. In fear, you'd close your eyes, awaiting the trigger to be pulled. But nothing would ever happen. Once you'd open your eyes again, your gaze would meet deep eyes of dark red colour, staring down at you seductively while pushing you down into submission, grinning with the pride of being the only one able to send such electrostatic shivers over your heated body-

WAMM

The loud sound of a skull being hit against the wooden wall of a cell was heard all over the lower deck. But no one was down there to hear it except the culprit who had franticly banged his forehead against the wall, trying to stop those forbidden, sinful thoughts about the man who had kidnapped him and kept him on his ship as a hostage. He didn't allow himself to let thoughts and fantasies like that flow into his head like tidal waves. Not about a man, not about this man! The prince felt like the biggest traitor in the world, like he would betray his father and the kingdom he'd rule someday by viewing captain Midas in this red, mysterious light that was sinful yet tempting.

"What'cha doin there, lil prince?", the voice that kept haunting his sinfilled dreams at night shot trough Alexander like an arrow of cupid, a sharp shot through his chest that yet filled his heart with warmth and his head with more forbidden thoughts. The prince of Aramis turned his head and looked at the captain of the Rose of Neptune. Heat boiled deep down in his stomach, turning his cheeks slightly red. The captain noticed such little details of change in his prisoner immediatly. "Aww, did you miss me, little lapdog? How cute, I must say, I missed this adorable little face of you. Full of fear, anger and shame, all the expressions I love seeing on you. Tho I must admit," Captain Midas said while pulling Alexander up on his feet, "your face looked prettier in light than in this dark cell." While holding the prince's arm in a firce grip, he walked out of the cell and up the stairs leading to the upper deck.

Bright sunlight kissed Alexanders face but before the royal could even dare to enjoy it, a member of the crew shoved a mop into his hands. When he saw the questioning look on his face, Midas explained with a scoff. "Do you really expect us to provide you with food and a place to rest without anything in return? The fact we've let you live should already have you on your knees, scrubbing the Rose of Neptune from the upper mast to the keel. But since you royals never have to lift a finger in your worthless lifes, I guess I have to beat it into ya" He lifted his fist and in a matter of seconds, Alexander was swiping the wooden deck.

"The dog seems to be learning who's the boss!", shouted a voice from above. Midas looked up into the sky, piercing eyes drilling into the man who said it. "Keep your eyes on possible reefs or ships instead of my pet, you scum." The second the words left the captains mouth, the pirate shut up and his sight went sweeping over the blue ocean again. Midas turned to the prince. "Listen closely. When the sun hits the water surface, I want this deck to be sparkling, understood? If I come back here and I'm not able to see my face in the planks screws, I'll chop your head off." Quickly, the blonde prince nodded. "y-yes.." went out of his mouth hesitantly. The captains voice began to raise.

"What's that?"

"Y-yes Sir!"

"WHAT'S THAT?"

"A-AYE CAPTAIN!"

"What a smart lapdog you are.", the captain praised before turning on his heels and retuning to his cabin. Once again, the prince's face turned red and he looked at the floor he was cleaning to hide it.

The scorching hot sun burned Alexanders neck and shoulders, his panting mouth hung open while he was sweeping the deck. More than anything he wanted to pour that bucket of water over himself but if the captain would find out he's wasting fresh water, a thing that valued more than gold out here on the sea, he would surely kill the prince. Jumping into the ocean was also no option. He would probably drown and whenever he looked down into the deep water, he could see the fin of a shark from time to time. He could hear the pirates talking and laughing. Since he had freed him from the longest available task, they now had free time. Sitting in the shadow of the main sail, they drank beer and played card games. Alexanders mouth got even more dry at the sight of the cold beer that they had kept under deck, away from any warmth. But he didn't dare to ask for a single sip. He had already lost enough pride. In only a week he had went from a rich and powerful prince of a giant kingdom to the worthless pet of a pirate captain. Slowly, standing in the torturing sunlight made him realise: he was no longer allowed to look down on the pirates. He had been put in an even lower position, they were the ones watching him work and sweat for the first time in his entire life.

Suddenly, he heard steps behind him. He turned around and a brown haired crewmate was standing there, holding a jar of beer. "I don't like your father at all. But that's no reason to let you die of dehydration, kid.", he said, shoving the cold glass into his free hand. The prince smiled at him. "Thank you very much, you're a kind man." The pirate went his way as Alexander chugged the cold beer down his throat. It woke up his melting brain and brought new strength into his aching limbs. He looked at the wooden door of the Captain's cabin. He was ready to wipe that smug grin off his face by showing him the cleanest deck he had ever seen since this damn ship was build.

After sinking down slowly for a whole day, the sun finally kissed the ocean, colouring it in red and pink. At this point, the crew had followed Alexanders example and everybody was looking at the captains door, awaiting him to observe the work of the prince. Finally, the heavy door swung open. Slowly and elegant, the captain of Neptunes Rose walked over the deck. He stopped and bent down to a nail. His tanned skin, red eyes and approving smile were clearly visible and he turned to Alexander. "You've done the job better than I'd expected. I had already prepared my sword to cut your head off but now that won't even be necessary, huh?" He got closer to the prince. "Instead,", he said quietly while cupping his pets cheek with his hands, "I think you've earned yourself a treat, little dog." With that said, his lips pushed against Alexanders softly, connecting the surprised slave with his owner in the sweetest way possible.
