Everest was taking a walking through the walls of windhelm. It's been a few days since she got news her father has been captured by the imperials. There was the usual sound of birds and civilians chatting. The sound of the gate into town was heard and then there was silence. The only thing heard was birds and wind and the quiet crunch of snow under her feet.

It was never this quiet In windhelm. There was usually nords bickering with the elves but not even that could be heard. There was faint running footsteps heard and guards armor clanking together. Then she heard something she thought she was never going to hear again. "My lord are you alright?" A guard asked. Everests blood ran cold as she heard those words.

She couldn't control her body. All she knew is that she had to see her father. She ran through the walls and out an exit that led back into town. She ran to the gate. She froze when she saw him. Ulfric was standing there but then he looked up at his daughter and smiled. At the same time they both rushed to embrace each other.

They pulled out from the embrace when shouting can be heard from a distance. It was a rather familiar voice. Galmar comes rushing over to ulfric. "Ulfric are you alright?! They said you were off to the chopping block?!" He asked frantically. Everest stopped listening to there conversation. She couldn't stand hearing how her father had almost been executed.

When there conversation had stopped and snow had started to fall from the cloudy sky. She pulled her cloak around the front of her to keep warm. "Everest, let's head inside. Don't want you to get a cold." Her father said extending his hand over to her. She walked over to him and he placed his hand on her back as the three of them went back to their big stone palace.

As they walked through the big door they were greeted by Jorleif. "Welcome home. Sifnar has prepared dinner." He stated as he sat down on the bench. Wuunferth and Yrsarald had come in the room and sat down as well. Everest took off her cloak and handed it to a servant. The three of them made their way over to the table. They all sat down as Sifnar came in with a pot and put stew in everyone's bowls.

He sat down himself after putting the pot away in the kitchen. They all ate there dinner quietly. Ulfric looked up at his daughter and broke the silence by asking, "have you found work yet?" Everest looked up at her father. "I've been contacted by the dark brotherhood." She said quietly. Everyone stopped eating and looked at her. "And? Did you say yes?" Her father asked in a surprised but angry tone.

She shook her head as she took another sip of her stew. "I'm not really into killing for fun, father." She replied. "But i do think that if we contact the thieves guild it will help us." Everest added on. Ulfric took a sip of his mead. He had a thinking face on and placed his cup on the table and got up out of his seat. He walked over to the war room and said, "your dismissed from dinner Everest. Go to your room."

Everest sat there for a moment. "Darling i wouldn't want to make your father mad. Go up to your room."Jorleif said. She nodded as she stood up from the table and walked to the stairs. When she made it to the second floor she made her way to her room. She shut her door and sat at her desk. She picked up a quill and dipped it in some ink. She started scribbling down on a piece of paper.

"Dear father. I'm going on a little trip. Please do don't come looking for me or send any men. I will come back when the time is right. I have decided that i want to live my life the way i want from now on. Even if it means i will die. I have been reading about ruins here and there around Skyrim. I wish too explore them. I do wish to take my beloved wolves and horse along with me. Please do tell Galmar that i am positive i have found the location of the jagged crown. I put a map in the nightstand next to his bed. Please do make sure he gets it. I am also aware of the return of the dragons. From the reading i have done I'm positive i can survive on my own. I've trained to be a brave warrior my whole life and now is my chance to finally experience the life of an adventurer. As i am out i will talk to both theives guild and dark brotherhood. I wish you well while i am gone. I will miss you as much you, me.

~Everest"

She sat her quill in the ink pot. She stretched her hand and got up out of her seat and over to her wardrobe. She pulled out a cloak and some scrap clothes. She put the clothes in a small bag. She then walked over to her chest and opend it. She smiled at all of her steel weapon and armor. She picked it all up and put it in the bag one by one. She then walked back over to her wardrobe and pulled out a nicely made pair of clothes.

She slipped off her dress and placed it on her bed without wrinkling it. She then put her clothes on. She sat down on a stool and put her boots on. She stood up grabbing her cloak and put it on. Everything she was wearing was black as night.  She grabbed her bag and put it on her back. She opened a window and climbed out. She landed on a stone walkway. She made her way over to the extension of the palace where her wolves Raven and sparrow are.

She climbed in the shed through the hatch in the ceiling. Two eyes can be see in the distance staring at her. She grabbed a torch off the wall and used her magic to light it. Two wolves cuddled together can be seen getting up from there resting positions. Raven is a black wolf and sparrow is white. They both rushed over to there loving master. "Come my children." She whispered as she sat the torch back on the wall and opened the shed door.

She walked down the path that led to the entrance of the city. Her wolves by her sides at all time. A guard opened the gate for her and said, "be safe my lady." Everest nodded and continued walking until she made it to the stable. Her horse was white as snow. His name was Ivar. She took the bag off of her back and tied it to his saddle. She then hopped up on her horse and walked forward to the road. "Keep up boys." She said before her and her animals where seen riding off into the sunset. Only Talos know where they will end up.
