Goldie POV

After what happened with Freddy I couldn't just leave what happened alone. His words haunted my mind until finally enough was enough. I went inside the Pizzeria to gather a few items I would need before venturing back out to my car. I recalled what Hospital Spring and Bonnie were being treated at and drove over there quickly. The rain was full on pouring now. I opened my purple umbrella and walked into the bustling hospital. The rain means more accidents since people don't remember how to drive in adverse weather. Regardless, I walked to the nurse's station and softly spoke, "I'm looking for Spring Trap?"

"Relative or Friend?" The nurse asked sipping his coffee.

"Friend, I have something to give him." Goldie said grasping the item in his pocket.

"Alright, well just warning you, he is in a very limited state so be patient and don't do anything drastic. Fourth floor Room 483. "

"Alright, thank you so much. Have a good day." Goldie said as he walked towards the elevator. As he pushed the button he heard familiar voices, "I don't know Red.. Bonnie looked really broken after Fred left. He said he didn't want to see him again but he really really seemed off."

"I know Clyde but we need to support Bonnie in his decisions and be the family he needs right now."

"What are we going to do Red!? We don't have anywhere to live!? Bonnie is going to be discharged soon and needs a place to be treated safely! We have nothing because of that—that—" Clyde fell to his knees while sniffling. Red knelt down and held him close, "That bastard!!" Clyde buried his face into his lover's embrace.

The doors opened and Goldie pushed the button labeled, "4." The elevator hitched before ascending up and soon reaching the fourth floor where Goldie exited the elevator and eventually found Spring's room.

Goldie knocked on the wooden door, he could start to feel his heart beating in his chest. He had not seen Spring in forever and now he was coming face-to-face with the repercussions of his actions. The nurse opened the door and welcomed Goldie inside with a soft smile. She stepped outside so the two could talk privately but kept the door cracked in case spring pushed his emergency button. Goldie walked to the side of Spring's bed and looked him up and down with remorse. His once young lover was now bedbound because of what he made Freddy do.

"Hi Spring, it's me." Spring immediately tensed up the best he could in his current condition. He started to reach his finger to the emergency button which was located near his hand. "Wait wait wait! I've just come to talk I'm not coming to do anything to you." Spring hesitated for a second before allowing his finger to settle back on the bed.

"It was completely my fault. I sent Freddy in there to bring down your business because you have been ruining my business and image. I know that you were just trying to build a better life for you and Bonnie. I'm so sorry about everything that happened, because I still do love you and I don't think I'll ever get over you and I know that my pride and bitterness came over me when I sent my little brother to do my dirty work. He should've never been involved and I should've never bothered you." Goldie felt his eyes begin to water,

" you were my sun, my moon, my beginning and ending, you're all I wanted and more but you left because of an accident that didn't even pertain to you. The bite was a mistake and was nothing against you. And then you made your living out of making fun of my family's business which has been in my family for generations. When you didn't have a home on that freeway, my family took you in. We were the ones that were your family until we could find your aunt and uncle. And even then, fate brought us back together when you started working at our restaurant. From the moment I saw you I knew you were going to be mine. I knew that you and I were destined for something great and I'm so sorry that I fumbled and I destroyed any chance I ever had with you. I want you back, and I've never ever had the chance to tell you." Goldie took a deep breath to collect himself before continuing.

" Sometimes at night, I can see you from my apartment window smoking outside looking as handsome as the day I saw you. All I ever wanted was you. I know I sound pathetic and no matter of apologizing or begging will ever forgive what I did but there are a few things I can do to make things right. I heard that Bonnie will be discharged in a couple of weeks and you'll still be here probably for a few months because of the severity of your burns. I can offer you and your friends and your brother a place at my pizzeria. They can work to make money and live for free if they choose. They could just live in my apartment complex for free And not have to work at the pizzeria if they didn't want to. I know you don't trust me and you have every reason to, but the way I saw my brother break down and cry shook me to the core. With all this fighting and bickering I forgot what this was all about, what I was fighting for. Who I was fighting for." Goldie felt the warm tears stream down his face.

" tap once for no, tap twice for yes, tap three times to say 'fuck off but I accept,' and tap four times for maybe."

Spring sat in silence and thought until Goldie saw his finger move up.

3! After 3 there was a huge gap—signifying he accepted the deal. Looks like healing and forgiveness can take form after all. But will this be enough? Can I fix what is shattered beyond repair. The hell if I know but this is a step in the right direction for sure.
