Bonnie POV

After a couple days we moved into Goldie's pizzeria. It wasn't the world's best pizzeria but it wasn't rat infested. Upon entering the pizzeria, there was a big main room with a stage towards the far wall. On the adjacent wall was a stage on a smaller scale as if it was built for one or two people. There were rows and rows of checkered tables with plates and multicolored party hats all over the tables. A door next to the small stage had big black letters on a white sign: ARCADE. On the left side of the building was two halls that seemed to go back pretty far. Right by the main entrance was two double doors that led to the kitchen. The walls seemed damp and were littered in drawings and posters of the pizzeria. My eyes were drawn to one of Freddy singing on stage, smiling while winking to the camera. I felt a stabbing feeling in my heart.

While I inspected my new surroundings, I was interrupted by a short, blonde, Latina dashing back and forth with a clip board in hand. She seemed to be muttering and checking things off the list while completely ignoring me. Eventually I cleared my throat loudly and she stopped dead in her tracks. "oh jeez! Sorry about that!" She said as she looked at me, "I was so busy making sure everything was ready I seem to have forgotten my manners. I'm Chica. And you?"

"Bonnie Trap. I'm here with my friends and family to get housing and work here?" I said as she shook my hand.

"Oh yes! I heard all about you! The housing unit is in the building next door and the jobs available are on thiiisss..." she searched through her stack of papers till she found a salmon colored sheet of paper, "flier right here! Sign up for what you would like. Then Goldie or Freddy can help you."

"Speaking of that, where is Fred? I haven't seen him in awhile and I'd prefer to keep it that way." Her face turned as if she just ate sour candy.

"He still hasn't returned. Goldie is starting to get worried, but he knows Freddy needs his alone time. Anyway I'll see and meet the rest of you later!!"

I held the salmon colored paper in my hands as I began to scan the listed jobs: waiter/waitress, host/hostess, chef, arcade prize corner helper, performer(guitar or bass), busboy, custodian, guard.

In middle school, I used to watch this garage band play in our neighborhood. They were called "The Bite" and the lead guitarist used to teach me basic stuff. One day he showed up to my house with his guitar and told me, "Take care of her. My stupid ass parents want me to sell her and make some money but I know she will be much better in your care. Take care little buddy." And that was the last time I saw him.

I checked off the box next to "performer (guitarist/bass)" and set down the paper. After Red and Clyde looked at the paper we headed over to the building next door. I let out a breath of stress and frustration as Clyde and Red talked to the lady at the front desk who was in charge of the upkeep of the building. She gave us our keys and I headed upstairs to my room. Clyde and Red were right across the hall from me and began unpacking and being all cutesy and shit. With a heavy sigh I set down what belongings I had left from the fire and laid in my bed, my body was still so incredibly sore from everything that's happened. The minute I was completely and totally alone my eyes began to water and I could feel the tears slip out. I didn't want to admit it but I really missed the feeling of Fred holding me close and smiling at me. I longed to feel his presence and warmth next to me. I hate this. I hate him!

Fred POV

I know it's childish but I cannot be around Goldie right now. He used me to get back at his ex-lover because of his success?! That's so fucking low and because I'm so spineless I didn't stand up to him and I lost the only person in my life who made me feel like I was worth a damn. But I can't avoid Goldie forever... guess I'll go home— wait what's happening?

I walked into the pizzeria to see a bunch of familiar faces.. shit it's my old coworkers. I tried to sneak past them when Clyde grabbed me by the shirt. "Listen shitstain. We all have a bone to pick with you but since we don't have any other options we are forced to be here. Don't cause any problems for Bonnie and we will be ok. You break his heart or even just breathe at him wrong and your guts will be all over the floor!! Got that you good for nothing waste of space piece of crab-shit!!!"

"Yes!" My eyes went wide as I could see the rage in Clyde's eyes like never before. He dropped me and I ran to the back room to Goldie. "Goldie what the fuck is going on!?"

"Freddy, lil bro, my favorite person in the world! Welcome home first of all. Second of all I offered all of them a place to live in work until they choose to leave or whatever. And most chose to come here!"

"You mean he's here?" I could feel my heart pounding in my ears.

"Yep he's up in his room sleeping and recovering from the fire. He seems really sweet Freddy you sure know how to pick 'em!" At that comment I felt my stomach drop. I ran to the bathroom and felt the rising feeling of burning come out of mouth. I flushed the toilet and held onto the side of the toilet with both hands as the nausea subsided. This was going to be a painful adventure.
