Chapter 7: Kissing under the mistletoe

Its over.I'm done with this place.Should have quit on the spot as soon as I heard him say those words.
I'm so dumb thinking I'll ever find love.Love is a lie,yet I loved that lie...These were all the toughts inside Nate's head.
-Can't you go faster? I need to catch the last flight to NYC before the snowstorm starts...
-Sorry man,the road is slippery,can't risk breaking my car.Being an Uber is my only income...
-Ugh,fine,you're right sorry.I am just upset...
-Do you want to talk about it?

And in a seccond,the car and the black man dissapeared,and Nate was holding his bags.
-Hey you sir! Why are you staying out here come inside!
-I uh..Mr officer,wasn't there a taxi here a minute ago? With a black man?
-You crazy sir? No Ubers could drive in this snow...
-Huh...?
Nate rushes inside the Airport and finds out all flights got cancelled.So he was stuck,in Utah and a few hundred miles away from his parents or the hotel...He knows that his father's old pickup truck won't start in this weather...
-This is just my luck...What am I supposed to do now?I guess I'll try to hitchike...
Outside,snow started falling down...Such a romantic atmosphere,yet romance is nowhere to be seen...And no car stopped at his signals...Until someone tapped Nate's shoulder from the back...
-Chase? What are you doing here...?
-Nate,look I'm really sorry...I didn't mean to react that way....I was shocked...I tought you didn't feel the same way I did....
-You mean...?
-Yes,Nate...I love you....And I'm sorry for all the mixed signals I gave but I was scared you don't feel the same way....

And they lean in,for an actual kiss this time.Just like in the cover photo...

-Aspen called me and uh..Lets just say that he was not happy with me...
-Yikes.Well thats my best friend so I expected nothing more from him...
And they end up going back to another kiss....And if you're wondering who the black man/that Uber driver was...It was Nate's angel trying to put some sense into him...And I guess it worked,since he forgave Chase and ended up staying in Utah due to the snowstorm...
