Chapter 6: getting the emeralds, Knuckles past.

As Sonic kept moving fast towards a crevice with two pillars showing an entrance as he kept going before Sage appeared again in front of the pillars as he started to slow down "father was right about you. Your reckless and destructive" she said "I have no idea what your deal is. But if we could just talk..." he said "no. no discourse. No bartering. Only elimination!" she said before she fired a beam of energy at Sonic. Knuckles were running towards the two as she fired before time slowed down and Knuckles got in front of Sonic and blocked her attack as Knuckles got ready before charging at her as Sage moved back but Sonic got interrupting the two and stopping knuckles "woah-Woah-woah! Time out!" he said to Knuckles " "Time out" she attacked you!" Knuckles replied "yeah it's kind of her thing. But she is trying to protect something. Or...someone" Sonic counter-argued before turning to Sage "I'm willing to help, but first I need to know what is going on" he told her she was shocked at this and slightly gasped before shaking her "no! You don't know what you're talking about" she told him before floating higher into the sky before teleporting away "your too trusting, Sonic" Knuckles said "no i'm not. Trust me" Sonic jokily replied as Knuckles grunted at this while the girls in Ruby world was giggling and some of the parents as well before Knuckles walked ahead and teleporting away "Sonic, do have Idea who that girl is trying to protect" Winter asked "I got an idea but without evidence it's just that an Idea" Sonic answered her questioned.

As he walked onwards "hi Sonic I have questioned" Kali (Blake's mother) told him "sure what up?" he asked "well are there any cat like creatures in your world?" she asked "yeah, quite a few but I know a couple. One is a big guy called Big the cat. He likes to fish and has a friend called Froggy. The other is a fire princess from another dimension" he answered her question Kali was happy about the ladder of his answer. "I have one?" Willow asked "shoot" he replied "well I want to know about if there are power hungry bastards?" Willow questioned luckily Eri ears were covered "yeah, I know a couple. One is my arch-enemy but I put them in their place" Sonic told her as Willow was happy about that "mind if I ask a question?" Jiro asked "what up Jiro?" he asked her "what kind of music do you have in your world?" she asked him "oh that tough one, we have: hard rock. Guitar, rap, musical and a bunch of others. I should know I played Guitar" Sonic answered her question but all the students were shocked by his answer "you can play?!" they asked (minus Eri, Shoto, Issei and Bakugo) "OW!" Sonic, Willow, Olivia, Glynda, Rossweisse, Winter, Kali, Jasmine, Rei, Inko and Mitsuki shouted at the students clovered the ears "sorry" they said "but yes I play guitar every once and a while" Sonic told them "can you still play?" Ruby questioned "Yeah, besides I got some new ideas for some songs" he told her as everyone was interested in hearing him sing.

After getting some time to run before seeing another Cyberspace gateway as he ran over to it and placed a gear inside fixing it before entering "this gonna be fun to watch" Katsuragi stated as everyone on her team and everyone else (minus the parents and winter) agreed.

After he was done exiting before getting more keys as a pillar of light shot into the sky "that makes four" Sonic said "Sonic I have a question?" Inko asked, "sure what's up?" Sonic replied "these Chaos Emeralds they help you defeat these titans but what can one emerald do?" she asked him "actually one emerald can control time and space along with turning thoughts in power and other abilities as well" Sonic answered everyone was surprised to hear that before Shoto spoke up "Sonic I have a question?" Shoto asked, "Sure what's up?" Sonic replied "what is your relationship with your parents?" he questioned as everyone was taken back "don't know. I have never met them, been an orphan since I was five" Sonic told everyone, shocked "you never met your parents?" Yang questioned "nope" he replied "that so sad to hear" Rei commented "don't worry about it" he told her as she was taken back by this "do you not care about your parents?" Inko asked "no it just well I just done see a reason why that should keep me down and depressed. I know they would want me to live my life as I do and that they will support me beside I got to be a good brother to Tails" Sonic explained as everyone was amazed by that while Eri, Koneko and Xenovia was happy to hear that Sonic was always an optimist even when dealing with other problems as Sonic kept walking before see a tower floating in the sky with a chain going down through water like a plug for a shower or sink as Sonic saw Knuckles standing next the lake "yo Knucks what up?" he said as Knuckles turned to him "Sonic I think I found something" Knuckles replied as Sonic walked up to him and stood next to him "can you see that seal in the center of the pond? If we can pull it out, we can drain the water" Knuckles informed "the problem is I'm still ghost-like and you're useless underwater" he added "is that true sonic-senpai?" Koneko asked "wow, thanks for the concern. Anyways, if I can joslie the device holding the chain, maybe I can reel it in" Sonic replied "worth a shot. Just don't slip and fall. I can't haul you out." Knuckles told him.
