Season 2 chapter 4: Sage presence now known. Going different ways.

Sonic was on his way to see Olivia and the other headmistress as he felt like they should know about Sage. getting the Elevator heading up, feeling the vibration of the elevator moving, he stood there. Not feeling the best.

He was tired which was understandable as he did not sleep last night. His Nightmares made sure of that.

(flashback Sonic Dream)

Feeling the cold of the ground I woke up and saw something I wish I could forget.

Eggman walked towards with holes in him and blood coming out like a waterfall, quickly standing up and backing away before I bumped into someone, turning around I saw Sage crying "why, didn't you save? Why did let him die?!" she shouted at me with tears in her eyes backing away from her "(stuttering) I-I-I-I t-t-tried S-sage" that was the only thing I could say "I bet you wanted this to happen. You HATED Father! Just like you Hate me!" Sage shouted at me as my chest was tightening up "I didn't hate him! I tried to save him. I'm sorry Sage I'd done my best!" I shouted back "then you are a failure of a Hero. you failed to stop the Metal Virus and your FAILURE AS A FATHER AND BOYFRIEND!" I turned and saw Eggman with Ruby as well who had a hole in her chest before I could reply, flaming hands latched onto me before dragging me down a pool of black water while I kept hearing that word.

"FAILURE/FAILURE!"

"FAILURE/FAILURE!"

"FAILURE/FAILURE!"

"FAILURE/FAILURE!"

"FAILURE/FAILURE!"

"I TRIED!"

I woke myself up quickly after screaming and found myself back in the Rwby room with Sage and Ruby cuddling up together, looking at Sage a tear started to form before I looked down in shame.

"I tried to save Sage. please forgive me"

(flashback ends, Sonic POV)

"Why is that coming back now? I know I failed to save Eggman, my dreams don't have to rub it in" I said to myself before rubbing my eyes and hid the bags forming under them putting on a smile before the elevator stopped and opened letting me enter Olivia's office.

(3rd POV)

As he entered he saw Olivia by herself who noticed him "good morning Sonic. May I ask why you're here so early in the morning?" she asked "well I thought since I told Ruby and her team I should let you know. It is about Eggman" Sonic started as Olivia got serious." Is he coming to this world?" she asked "no...He's dead" Sonic told her, shocking her before explaining about Sage and what caused Eggman's demise "I see. Thank you for letting me know Sonic, I will pay respects and let the others know. But I do have one question" she said as Sonic looked at her while nodding "what became of Eggman's remaining army?" she asked as Sonic thought about "I...I don't know, when Eggman died I think his army and all his robots just shut down, at least that I think cause when Eggman did no reported about his robots it like they just returned to the base and shut down" Sonic replied "alright thank you for letting me know" Olivia said before Sonic left while Olivia got some coffee.

In the cafetera Sonic was eating some chili-dogs with a cup of coffee "SONIC!" he turned and got tackled and hugged by Ruby "morning Ruby, how are you feeling?" he asked as the two sat up "I'm okay, thanks for asking but where have you been and are you alright as you look really tired" she asked "I just had a bit of a rough night, and didn't get much sleep that all sweetheart" Sonic replied as he made her blush after that she got some breakfast before Blake and Yang arrived with Amy and Class-1A girls but sonic was thinking about something that he noticed *Where are Tails and Weiss?* he thought after they were done Sonic was walking around and saw that Tails was walking towards him "hi little buddy you okay?" he asked Tails attention "oh hi Sonic. Yeah I'm okay, just talking to Weiss and well...Sonic (looks at him with serious look in his eyes) I gonna leave Beacon with Weiss" he said as Sonic was surprised "me and Weiss are together now and I want to go with her and grow into the hero I want to be and to do it with her by my side. If that's okay, you big brother?" Tails said as Sonic chuckled a little "I am more than happy to let you go with Weiss. I know: you and her and going to be amazing together just make sure that you get some rest every once in a while plus it's good to see you and Weiss grow as a couple. So yeah you're free to go your way" Sonic said making his little brother smile.

After that Tails ran off to find Weiss while Sonic watched with a smile "you did a smart thing sonic" he turned to see Yang "trust me, as older sibling myself I know what it's like to let your younger sibling go and have their own adventures but we can do it cheer them on for support" Yang said as Sonic smiled before the two walked way while hugging each other and chuckling.

(timeskip)

Team RBY+Sonic was looking at Weiss and Tails as there ship was about to leave soon "take care little brother" Sonic said "I will, besides I'll have Weiss with me as well" Tails replied "take care of him Weiss" Sonic requested to Weiss who smiled "don't worry Sonic I looked out for him" Weiss answered him "we all will" they turned to see Miyabi and Homaru teams said surprising them "Sonic we all saw the potential in tails and were wondering with your permission would let us join Tails and Weiss" Miyabi requested "I have no problem. Weiss, are you okay with that?" Sonic asked as Weiss nodded "sure, the more the better" Weiss said after that they left while waving goodbye to Sonic and others as Yang and Blake walked away Sonic stayed watching the ship leave his eyesight before he felt someone grab his hand turning to see his girlfriend "he'll be fine Sonic. Weiss will look out for him" she supported him after that he left with his girl heading back to Beacon with a smile on his face *well little brother, this your time to grow and when next see each other I want to know about all the heroic things you have done* Sonic thought before they headed back to Beacon with the rest of the group.
