Chapter 10: Tails problem, Sage changing and...pinball? The Knight.

Sonic ran across the islands and got more keys from cyberspace before meeting up with Tails next to some lava and was talking to a Koco with goggles on its head.

Once getting some part for the defence the koco needed to help his friends and waited for their hero to come back and even got another emerald in doing so. Bring the count up to 3. However the Koco were distressed "did I get the wrong parts?" Sonic questioned "no. they're heroes didn't show up and they're getting worried that something might have happened" Tails explained before looking away and down "just like how I couldn't handle it after Infinite attacked. One wrong turn and I fell apart..." Tails mumbled but Sonic heard and Weiss was more worried about him "woah, what?" Sonic said in surprise before tails turned back to the Koco "listen the others are counting on you. I'm here to help. So don't give up, okay?" Tails encouraged Koco "you've got me worried tails, want to talk?" Sonic suggested as Tails turned him "not right now, let's just focus on finding the emeralds" Tails replied "alright" Sonic said before he walked off "Sonic what happened with this infinite guy?" Winter questioned "long story short, this guy called Infinite used this gem to create virtual illusions that messed with everyone's head and well to be honest when I first fought him. He used old enemies to give himself an advantage in the fight and won, and Tails was trying to help but couldn't he felt like it was his fault that I lose" Sonic explained as everyone taken at back by this "but it wasn't tails fault, this villain used a strange power and you didn't know how to counter it" Momo said "that right" Shoto agreed "Sonic have tried talking to about it?" Willow asked "I have tried multiple times, but every time: something comes up or he asks me to drop it. I don't want to pressure him so I just didn't push him" answering as Sonic kept going. "Sonic might want to talk to him soon as I believe that he has the guilt of failure in him and he is forcing himself to keep feeling it" Winter told him "will do, Winter. Thanks" replying to her words after finding him he was working on a piece of machinery "hey. Almost done here. Can you take and find a couple more parts?" Tails requested as Sonic smirked "can do" Sonic replied that while Winter was right best to get this done first before and everyone agreed with him.

I watched Sonic and Koco leave, however I am getting more worried about Sonic's condition. *I just hope he doesn't push himself too hard...what am I say of course he going to* I thought to myself turning around. I saw a girl who was kind of in the same situation as I am.
