Joey
I groaned as I stared blankly at the script in my hand.
I haven't been able to focus on anything recently.
Beck has been really weird ever since I walked in on him and Zac kissing.
He's been smoking more. He's more quiet.
I wonder if he feels guilty?
"Joey," Beck snapped his fingers in my face causing me to flinch.
"Are you okay?" He asked, a look of concern on his face.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine." I forced a smile.
He kissed my temple softly. "How about you and I go out to lunch instead of this?" He asked.
I nodded a little. "Okay,"
"We don't have to," he spoke, frowning, avoiding my eyes. "I uhh...just figured it'd be better. You don't seem like you're really...here. It's okay if you don't want to go though."
"I'm sorry," I responded.
I hate how easily he sees through me when I don't want to do something.
He shifted awkwardly. "I uhh..." He gestured vaguely behind himself before he turned and walked back to where he'd been sitting.
I followed him over, sitting in his lap.
He wrapped his arms around me.
"Beck, I'm just tired." I spoke.
I don't like lying to him.
"We should get to bed early then," he nodded thoughtfully.
I laid my head on his shoulder, closing my eyes.
"So, lunch?" I asked.
"Do you want to?" He asked.
I nodded.
He kissed my temple again.

"Zoe, I need to talk," I spoke into my phone as soon as she answered.
"What's up, Joey? Is it really important? I'm out with Aiden right now," she spoke.
I felt like my stomach fell almost. "Oh, uhh...it's fine." I lied.
"You sure?" She asked.
"Yeah, enjoy your date," I spoke as I hung up.
Beck was showering, and I really can't talk about Beck to Beck. And Zoe is busy.
I frowned at the realization I didn't have any friends other than him and Zoe.
I cocked my head. Dyrk.
I sent him a text and told him I needed to meet.
I sent Beck a text letting him know I was headed out before I left the house.
I walked to the park where I told Dyrk to meet me. He wasn't there yet so I took a seat under the big hollow tree that'd been defaced by names and initials of couples.
"Finally come to your senses? Finally going to admit your love for me?" Dyrk grinned as he approached me.
"No." I deadpanned.
