Beating heart {Taekook}

Prologue

Lunar Pack,

A beautiful young omega was sitting in his room in a elegant red outfit, all dolled up for his marriage ceremony, his doe eyes sparkling, his cheeks covered with rouge same as his lips, his button nose shining with a diamond septum piercing which was dangling beautifully just above his cupids bow, his porcelain neck adorned with gold-jewels just like his ears, and to top it all his long black locks were messily but in a pretty way framing his face, his ethereal features.

But unlike his outer calm and composed appearance, his heartbeats were erratic thinking about the alpha coming to marry him, to take him away with him forever.

After a few minutes, the omega heard a knock on the door indicating its time.

'Alpha Kim is here.........',

This was Jeon Jungkook,

A beautiful male omega, son of the head alpha of Lunar Jeon Junghyung and Luna Jeon Yumi, who died while giving birth to him.

His father remarried to the current Luna of Lunar, Jeon Mina for whatever reasons, well she was not a typical villain stepmother one would assume, but also nowhere near the word 'mother' to the young omega, more-like a Luna of the pack, an elder figure he respected.

The young omega was forgotten consciously or unconsciously, when his father got occupied with his new family, after his half brother Jaehyun was born.

And Jungkook being the selfless soul, he was grateful for whatever he had in life, without any complaints towards his father or anyone, he grew up to be a beautiful person inside out.

But somewhere inside him, resided the fragile omega part of him, who was vulnerable, who craved for love and affection, who cared and felt deeply.

The beautiful omega was now standing in-front of a large brass vessel, filled with water, with some rose petals and marigolds floating in it.

Soon he heard the strong powerful footsteps coming near.

The place fell silent for a moment, before everyone present bowed and greeted the Alpha who just entered the place, despite their ranks.

The omega stood there silently, eyes casted down, till one of the maids came forward and helped him lift the veil from his head and adjust it on his head so that just his face was visible.

He looked in the vessel and saw the alpha he was going to marry, for the very first time, as per the tradition.

He could see the sharp handsome features of the alpha, his dark eyes which were not directly looking at him but still through the reflection in the water the strong gaze was as if staring into his soul.

This was Kim taehyung,

The pack leader of Dark Moon, son of Alpha Kim Daehyun and Luna Kim Taeri, inherited the position after his father, the head alpha died.

The authority of being the head alpha, came with responsibility of taking care of, looking after the well being of his pack and pack members, which the young alpha fulfilled dutifully.

The entire Dark Moon looked up to the Alpha, admired and respected him immensely, and it was not just because he was the head alpha or he was at such high position, but because he earned it gradually.

The man was also well known for his temper and ruthless nature, who wouldn't even blink before killing, if a person does something wrong to harm him or his family, his pack.

And with that, Kim taehyung changed from a young alpha boy to the headstrong man, and the alpha leader of Dark Moon he was today.

Wedding,

'I, Alpha Kim Taehyung, take Omega Jeon Jungkook as my omega, my other half and vow to create for us a life of honesty, fidelity, trust and love',

'I, Omega Jeon Jungkook, take Alpha Kim Taehyung as my alpha, my other half and vow to create for us a life of honesty, fidelity, trust and love',

With that they wore each other rings, which were technically wedding bands, the one for jungkook was a white gold one, with a moon engraved inside it, while taehyung's was the yellow gold one, which had a sun engraved inside it.

Lastly, taehyung wore jungkook a crescent moon shaped necklace, a family heirloom as a Dark Moon tradition.

The alpha placed a chaste kiss on the omega's forehead, after lifting his red veil which was covering the omega like a beautiful pearl.

Thus, completing the ceremony they were bounded in the sacred wedlock, till death do them apart.

And so, this was an arranged marriage, decided by the parents.

As Kim taeri wanted someone who could be with his son as his life partner, take care of him, be his companion for life, make his lonely existence lively and lovely.

She didn't how long she would survive with her deteriorating health, so she wanted to atleast be relieved that her son had someone to call his own, a family of his own.

While Jeon Junghyun, can't deny such a proposal, from a pack like Dark Moon and that too of Alpha Kim, which could be a great benefit for his pack in future.

And he was also finding a suitable partner for his son as he had reached his mating age, so who could be better than Alpha Kim taehyung.

And about jungkook and taehyung,

One agreed with a thought to get a prefect Luna for Dark Moon, someone who could take responsibility of the position and fulfil the duties alongside him.

While the other agreed, as a responsibility of being the obedient son, and with a little hope to love and be loved by the person who is going to be his life partner, his other half.

The newly wedded couple were going to leave from Lunar to go to Dark Moon, as the wedding was arranged in Lunar as per the Lunar traditions.

Jungkook bid his farewell to everyone, and at last went towards his father.

'Take care of yourself appa, don't overwork and stress yourself too much, you are getting old you know', said kook, giving his father a sweet smile like always, his eyes glistening with tears.

Alpha Jeon patted his head, his eyes getting wet as well, his son was really a precious one, despite him not being the ideal father to him.

'You too take care of yourself, and remember your eomma is always watching over you from heaven, blessing you', said the elder alpha, a few tears slipped from the omega's eyes at that.

He looked at the Lunar pack house and the entire territory one last time.

He has not seen his mother, or ever felt the warmth of motherly love, but this place and land always reminded him of his mother somehow, with the thought that she had lived here.

He touched the ground bending down, paying respect and turned around to leave, with his husband guiding him towards their car.

The rest of the people from Dark Moon following them in different cars.

With that they departed for Dark Moon, jungkook's new home, new life..........
