Chapter-4

After the declaration as the new Luna, jungkook was explained about the things relating to the pack and pack rules, and his duties accordingly.

Nothing much to pressure the newly mated omega, it was just a way of introducing and gradually involving him in the pack and with the pack members.

Jungkook was obediently listening and absorbing the information, he was a little anxious about having a such a responsibility and title of high significance.

But his mother in law assured him, that he will get a hold of it soon enough just like she did in the past, also his alpha will be there to guide him so he had nothing to worry about.

Further taeri gave him the traditional jewellery which every Luna of Dark Moon wore since generations, it was beautifully crafted pair of armlets, made of mixture of different precious metals with ruby studded on each of them intricately.

It was just like the tattoos for the pack leaders, while the Luna was to wear the jewellery instead.

Jungkook gladly wore them, promising himself to never loose them and respect them as it contained the blessings of their ancestors.

According to the Dark Moon traditions, the couple were to visit the Moon Goddess shrine together, to take blessing from the goddess for their union as a post wedding ritual which happened in Dark Moon.

The shrine was located on the top of a beautiful mountain named Gaya, the place was covered with different species of flowers, making the air around pleasantly fragrant.

A crystal clear stream was flowing at one side, making melodious sounds, the entire surrounding was calming to all the senses.

There were five hundred rock stairs to climb up the mountain, and according to the tradition one has to carry their mate up the mountain without letting their feet touch the ground till they reach the place.

So here, taehyung and jungkook were standing at the base of the mountain, the alpha was going to carry his omega up to the shrine.

'Luna, shall we proceed?', asked tae, looking at the omega who was looking at the stairs with big bambi eyes since they have arrived here.

'Huh, hmm yes Alpha...', answered kook after a moment when he finally understood what his husband was saying.

He was just a bit stunned seeing the stairs, the shrine was no where near to be seen from where they were.

Of course they were werewolves it was not that difficult of a task for them, his alpha was a strong big man.

But, but he felt shy and conscious, as his alpha has to carry him.

Taehyung lifted the omega up in bridal style in a swift motion as if he is a light feather, making jungkook held on to the alpha.

'Luna, comfortable?', asked tae, looking at jungkook, who nodded shyly because of their close proximity.

The alpha started climbing the stairs, while jungkook was looking at his husband's face, more like observing his features like he was an artwork, which of course the alpha was. (can't deny the fact)

They were so close, he could feel his alpha's heartbeats, loud and clear under his palm which was resting on his husband's chest, the earthy manly scent of his alpha engulfing him warmly.

At first taehyung didn't really felt the stares he was getting from his omega, but after a moment he noticed, which made his ears turn red.

A lot people has praised him for his physical appearance through the past, but he never felt this flustered before by someone's gaze.

'Alpha, are you feeling hot, unwell?', kook asked worriedly touching his alpha's forehead, when he saw his husband's ears and neck area was tinted red.

'No Luna, it's just that the temperature feels a little warm today' and also your stares, said tae trying to maintain his alpha dignity, oh moon goddess save the poor soul.

Soon they reached the shrine, taehyung put down jungkook making him stand, his feet touching the beautifully carved stoned floor of the shrine.

The shrine was made of rocks, all carved beautifully with different sculptures and carvings, a sight to behold.

The couple paid their respects to the moon goddess and placed some fresh flowers there, which were grown around the sacred place.

'Moon goddess, bless our union and may we have long life together, till death do us apart......',

'Moon goddess, fulfill whatever my omega has wished for, his wish is my wish......',

The couple sat their in peaceful silence feeling the serenity of the place before leaving.

This time when jungkook was walking down the stairs side by side with taehyung, his gaze towards his husband changed a little, it was something more than admiration and fondness.
