Chapter-3

The newly weds went downstairs after getting ready for the day to join the rest of the family, who were waiting for them.

Alpha Kim taehyung's family consisted of his mother, former Luna Kim taeri, his elder brother Kim namjoon an alpha.

Namjoon was adopted by tae's parents, they found the young pup in the forest all alone, helpless, having known the love for a child because of their son taehyung they adopted him as their own.

Taehyung loved his brother, just like namjoon did, they were close and trusted each other like any blood brother would, it was really as if they were meant to be family.

Namjoon was to be made the head alpha after his father, but he denied as somewhere he knew it was the rightful place of taehyung, and he promised to always be there for his little brother and his pack, as he was made the second in command of the pack.

Then his brother in law, jin an omega, mate of namjoon, their marriage was a love one, being friends to lovers to mates, now happily married with their son Kim Dowon, the youngest addition to the Kim family.

Then last but not the least, Kim Jisoo a beta, younger sister of taehyung, pampered and spoiled since childhood being the youngest of the three siblings as well as the family.

So this was the Kim family.

Back to present,

The entire family had a peaceful breakfast, trying to make jungkook feel at home while interacting with him here and there.

Taehyung was subtly listening to his omega, while conversing with his elder brother.

'Jungkook son, the elders will be here in sometime to meet you and bless your union', informed taeri with a sweet smile, she really liked the omega.

'Eommonim, umm...., can I prepare something sweet for everyone, back in Lunar newly wedded prepares something sweet for their husband's family, so if your permit me, I will', said kook, his voice soft yet a bit nervous, hoping to be allowed.

It was not just about cooking, as the tradition was more about the new beginning, acceptance, love with the in-laws, with sweetness.

'Sure, son you don't have to ask the kitchen is all yours, you can use it however you like, the maids will assist you', replied the lady, making the omega smile hearing the warm reply.

'I am looking forward to taste your cooking jungkookie', said jin with a sweet smile, followed by 'me too', from namjoon and baby dowon, both showing their identical dimpled smile.

Jisoo didn't say anything, busy eating her breakfast.

Jungkook looked at his alpha who was already looking at him. Both stared at each other till namjoon coughed a bit loudly getting them out of their own world.

As soon as the breakfast was done, jungkook went to the kitchen thinking about what to make, and to start assembling the ingredients for the same.

The maids assisted him regarding what is kept where, they all including jin offered to help the omega, but jungkook declined politely wanting to make everything on his own as per the tradition, and he really loved cooking so he had no problem.

He was busy stirring the mixture, when he heard someone entering the kitchen, it was none other than his alpha.

'Do you need anything alpha?', asked kook, his attention was now fully on his alpha, who was standing in the kitchen as if he has entered the place for the first time.

'Yes, I mean 'me too', I am looking forward to taste your cooking', said tae nodding and left the kitchen right after, leaving a blushing mess omega behind.

Jungkook smiled shyly in the empty kitchen before continuing his work.

Soon it was time for the elders to come, jin came to see jungkook who was done with his work by then, and sent him to change and freshen up.

The omega hurriedly got ready, wearing a blush pink outfit, looking beautiful as ever, the soft colour was enhancing the omega's natural beauty.

Soon he heard a knock, and saw jisoo standing there, probably here for calling him.

'Luna, mother called you, the elders have arrived',

'Oh, yes noona let's go I am done', said kook giving a smile to the beta woman, who acknowledged it with a small smile.

'Noona, call me jungkook we are family and you are older than me so', said kook after a minute as they were descending down the stairs now.

Jisoo nodded at that and went away to sit with the family and the guests in the huge living area leaving the omega standing there.

Maybe noona doesn't like talking to new people, thought the omega.

He shrugged his thoughts and went away to serve everyone the traditional sweets he made, with some warm tea.

He also made some candied fruits for baby dowon who may not like the traditional sweets.

Dowon kissed the omega's cheek lovingly, showing his two front teeth, jungkook smiled seeing him enjoying the candy, eating it messily.

'Alpha our Luna is really pretty, hope you have just as pretty pups soon',

'Not only pretty, Luna is very good at cooking too, alpha is blessed to have such a mate',

'Oh our alpha should kiss Luna's beautiful hands for this',

'Luna is the one who is blessed our alpha is one in a million',

'Alpha, Luna I bless you both to have a blissful marriage, give us a strong heir soon',

'May moon goddess bless you both with a lovely long married life',

This went on and on, as the elders were mesmerised by their new Luna, his tasty cooking and polite mannerisms won their hearts.

Making jungkook happy, he felt accepted here, taehyung was also feeling proud hearing the praises for his omega.

After the meet and greet with the elders, taehyung introduced jungkook formally to the entire pack, and addressed him the Luna of Dark Moon, his mate.
