It's been long since I have written this birthday poem for Jin, posted on my Instagram but haven't been able to post here.
There is no excuse or reason. I was active, had time but i was so much in reading and research mode for some things to fall in next few weeks, I just didn't have the energy to write it up.
And now when it's near to posting something for our little TaeTae, I am expressing my deep love for the real maknae of our Bangtan- Our Always World Wide Handsome and magician of charms.
Jin-ie, a very happy birthday to you darling 🥳🥳🥳.
This year we both grew a lot, learnt a lot, withstood a lot. We got tested, and put under storms we weren't ready for.
But also, in the end we both got to know what we have to do next.
We both turned 30, and I can't thank enough for God to bringing us in this world in same year. Even though I didn't knew you until couple of years ago, I feel somehow in cosmos, you were with me letting me know we are in this together.
So, thank you for just existing. Thank you for beautiful messages you seep into your songs, truly epiphany saved me every morning I woke up to fight the good fight, it made me believe just like millions others, that however hidden i kept my own love for myself over others, I am always worthy of putting myself first, without any guilt.
That I am going to love my shining self.
Thank you, and leaving us you gave us another beautiful letter of promise. So we will hold you to that one- be healthy, prosper, love and evolve, and come back to meet us again in a your sparking way as always.
