The Duelist Heroine

Encounter

The heroine-to-be left to the beach to train and clean up along the way. First she could crunch 2 weeks with her Heroes and Dark Magician Deck. Except Exodia. He only requires all his cards to be summoned and he and the Egyptian God Cards would cause a stir.

She spent most of the afternoon trying out new strategies.

"Hmm. So if I use this rather than that card, it can surprise my opponent, and this could cancel out attacks which can keep damage to a minimum." She gathered her cards and decided to head off.

As she made it to the top of the stairs, she bumped into another person.

"Ah, sorry young miss!" A man said.

He was an overly-skinny man with angular features, long limbs, and neck. With spiky, yellow dishevelled hair with two bangs framing the sides of his face and his eyes looked like they were sunken in. His clothes looked baggy as they were just hanging off him.

As he saw that her cards fell out he bent down to help her.

The his eye caught something.

One of the cards had a picture of the alien-like hero he saw earlier.

And two other cards looked like the fire woman and the winged hero that helped him.

'Elemental Hero?' Then he looked at the girl.

"Young lady, I hope you don't mind my asking. But why do you have cards that look like the Heroes that stopped the sludge villain?" He asked.

Izumi looked at him in surprise.

"........Because they are. They are part of my power." Izumi said as she looked at the man.

She proceeded to tell the man about her quirk and how she gained it.

The man, who she learned was named Toshinori, was amazed that her cards gave her limitless power, that she literally had her own personal army ready to back her up when she's on the battlefield.

She already had an understanding of her powers and was still developing new strategies.

"Well, if you don't mind, I would like to oversee your training. I work as a secretary for All Might and I can tell him about you wanting to apply on a recommendation." He offered surprising her.

"I appreciate it, but I think that I can do the Entrance Exam, besides, I don't want to take the easy way into U.A. after all." She declines. "But I will accept you overseeing my progress."

Nine months later...

Toshinori not only oversaw her progress, he also helped her whip her body into shape with exercise.

He was amazed by all the possibilities her cards could create, not to mention some of the names sound like hero names too.

Some of the monsters she summoned were also either cute, beautiful, scary, strange, alien-like, or tricky.

But she treated them all like human beings, even saying, "They are more than just friends to me, they are my family."

With a quirk and personality like hers, she could be a shoo-in in no time.

Now, the Entrance Exam will be up!

But Toshinori does not know about Exodia, the Egyptian God Cards, the Number Cards or the Crimson Dragon yet.

I plan to use the Dark Magician Deck for that part.
