Transformers Oneshot: Shockwave x reader

-5 months later-

War broke out, it was now decepticons vs. the autobots. The decepticons were led by Megatron and the autobots led by Optimus prime. First step of action was segregation, which side were you on?

When I first got recruited to shockwave's science team, the first thing they did was put a decepticon symbol on my left shoulder. I have been working with his team for 5 months now, I made a couple of friends and acquaintances by the time. I was stationed at the incubation/ hatchery section we received eggs to hatch and incubate them in large chambers full of a yellow liquid. While working, I would look up to a balcony that shockwave would observe us on. "Do you guys also find it creepy that he just watches us...?" You asked your colleagues.

"He is the lead scientist so I understand why?" One spoke

"It didn't bother me but now that I think of it. What if he catches us doing something wrong?" You don't want to think about the possibilities of punishment for doing something wrong, that was just part of science. Trial and error.

The days pass, shockwave was observing me more than usual. It didn't bother me and on occasion I would look back up to him. The next day, two scout soldiers walked inside of the hatchery bay where I was.
"Y/N, shockwave would like to speak to you privately. In his quarters"
Your colleagues looked to you as they heard, they had a worried face as if you were in trouble. Everything went quiet.
"What does he want me for?"

"We don't know, but we were told to escort you" a scout replied

"Can it wait? I am busy with work at the moment?" The other scout cocked his gun in his arms. This wasn't an option for you. "Fine..."

You and the scout soldiers walked from the hatchery to shockwaves personal quarters. You walked in silence, other scientists, workers, and visitors stared at you. It felt like the walk of shame. You and the scouts entered an elevator, his quarters was on the top floor of the building as well as his personal lab. Riding the elevator to the top, you stepped out going to his room/ office.
He met with you in the hallway.
"You needed to speak with me?" You asked and shockwave nodded waving his hand for you to follow him. You walked with him, he had heavy steps, his bright purple eye shined the darkest parts of his face, you couldn't help but to stare at his unique build especially his large chest and slim waist. His glossy purple paint shining as well. This made you feel some sort of way inside but couldn't point it out.

He shifted his head to you, catching you looking at him. You immediately turned away, your cheeks heating up slowly. He opened the door to his office, letting you walk in first and him following behind you. It was just the two of you.

In his office was a large computer with multiple screens above it. They were security camera screens, he was watching inside and outside the building, even the labs. Across the room was a door leading to another room, you could only assume thats his living quarters. Shockwave guided you to the middle of the room, there was a desk with two chairs across from each other. He pulled out a chair for you to sit, then standing by the other. You took a seat, shockwave reached into a cabinet and pulled out a data pad handing to you.

"I have a project coming up, project Insecticon. We will be forming a new colony of these creatures." You turned on the data pad and looked at the plans for the project.
You noticed that the 'insecticons' looked oddly familiar to the insects that he had taken from the sanctuary. "You want to make a colony? I- in all honesty I don't think that's a good idea..." Shockwave leaned on the desk keeping himself up with his hand on the surface, he moved closer to your face. "That is why I need you to lead the project. To make sure these Insecticons are built correctly. You know the insects best, correct?"

I moved my head back a bit when he came close, I nodded slowly. "But- if we are making a colony they need to have a leader." Shockwave backed away from you and walked towards a window "then be their queen. Program them to obey myself and you. That would be the most logical sense."

You blushed deeply, you didn't know what to say as your cheeks turned red. You stood up from the chair and took the data pad in hand. "I'll do it...when do we being the project?"

"We begin next week"

"We?" You looked to him as he had his back to you. "I'll be joining you on this project...at least providing the design. Now get back to work..." He said in a low tone. You took the data pad and exited the room, you rushed to the elevator and pressed the button to go down to your floor. When the doors shut, you couldn't help but to slap the data pad against your face gently. Your chest was warming up and spark beating quick. "Calm down, Y/N" you said to yourself.

You exited the elevator and rushed towards your quarters. Tossing the data pad on a table and jumping into bed face down into a pillow. You squealed into the pillow and kicked your legs into the air and sighed calming down.
