Transformers Oneshot: Shockwave x reader

Part 10

After the events of last night, you settled besides shockwave. Keeping his arm over your side and his gun arm comfortably behind your back. You couldn't fall asleep, rolling over to face Shockwave you looked at his dull image. His one bright purple eye was no longer glowing, he was sleeping.

"Shockwave?"

"Hmm..?"
He replied softly.

"I can't sleep..."
You whispered

His eye lazily turned on, the glow was dim but he was slightly awake.
"Sleep...you need it for tomorrow."

"What happens if I don't go...?"
Shockwave raised his head, his eye getting brighter.

"The outcome of your consequences may vary..."
You looked him slightly confused.

"However...if you decide to not go I will mark you as a decepticon traitor, an autobot spy, or even a pleasure bot and they'll have you killed..." He said in a cold tone.
He rested his head back down against his pillow, his bright eye now going dark. He let out a soft groan falling back asleep.

You looked at shockwave, you were unable to speak after what he said.
He would kill you if you wouldn't leave.
You rolled, now laying on your back, looking up at the ceiling and twiddling with your fingers nervously.
You wanted to leave the room now, but you knew grimlock would come in just a matter of time. You turned your head to shockwave who was now sleeping, turning back to look at the ceiling taking a deep breath and closing your eyes. After some time you fell asleep.

You jolted awake, looking around the room hyperventilating. You held your chest and looked down at your hands. Energon? You got up from the bed rushing towards a mirror. Your chest cavity was opened and your spark was missing, energon dripped from your eyes as if you were crying, you couldn't help but scream. You panicked looking around again to find shockwave against a wall. However he was stuck, he was entrapped in Insecticon webbing. His arm torn off, as if it had been pulled, wires exposed and his eye flickering off and on repeatedly.

You gasped, finally getting a breath of fresh air, you sat up on the bed looking around. Everything was normal, shockwave watched you as this happened.
"You had a nightmare"

You looked at him frowning, you hid your face in the palm of your hands and tried to calm down. Your body shook slightly. Shockwave came up to you and pulled you in holding you.
"What happened?" He looked down at you.

"I...I don't know, I woke up, my spark was missing, I cried energon, you were against the wall in webbing and you...you looked horrible..." You sobbed into his chest.

"It was only a dream, dreams are not real." He pulled you off of him and he held your chin "see? I am fine"

You sighed nodding slowly "you're right..."
Shockwave helped you out of the bed, he softly kissed your head and walked away.

"Grimlock is on his way now, possibly even close" you followed behind shockwave and nodded slowly. You still remember what he had said last night, you looked at him worried.

"Did you really mean it? That if I choose to not leave that you'll have me killed?"
Shockwave turned to look at you and he nodded.
"Yes, My form of caring is different from yours. I care that you get out safe, even it means joining the other side..."

"But I don't get it! All my life I thought the decepticons we're the side we were suppose to be on! The winning team. I'm sure Megatron wouldn't mind me staying!"

Shockwave slammed his fist against a table, he snapped yelling.
"MEGATRON would use you! He would toss you in the sea of rust if he cared!! He wouldn't love you like I do!"
You gasped and shockwave looked away. He knew what he said and he meant it.
"Shockwave..."

"That's enough..."
He spoke firmly.

After a few hours of waiting, grimlock finally arrived. He banged his fist against the metal door. Shockwave greeted him and he turned to look back at you.
"Give us a minute."

Grimlock looked around and nodded "hurry, they'll be back"

Shockwave shut the door, he walked to you and you looked at him.
"It's time"

You frowned, he pulled you close and you held each other one last time.
"If I see you again will you remember me?"

Shockwave slowly nodded
"Always"

You smiled sadly and pulled away kissing him.
"I- I lo..."

He shook his head stopping you from finishing that sentence.
"Don't...save it for another time"

You sighed nodding and you walked towards the door. You opened it and grimlock looked down at you.
"We have to go, those insects won't stop coming"

Turning back you looked at shockwave one last time and waved goodbye, you rushed out of the building following grimlock then.

Shockwave watched you leave, he would later on find his own escape route escaping back to his other personal lab he had at the decepticon HQ.

Grimlock and you treaded through Insecticon swarms, on the way back to the autobot base you met with Grimlock's team. You met the triceratops first, his name was slug. Then the pterodactyl, swoop. And lastly snarl, a stegosaurus.

"I thought you had another team member...?"

Grimlock was silent, slug looked at you and he nodded.
"We did...He was left for dead, he didn't survive shockwaves experiment..."

Grimlock looked to you.
"His name was sludge..."

You frowned and looked up at grimlock, you held his hand nodding. "He'd be proud of you, you are a great leader and what happened isn't your fault..."

Grimlock looked away, you can tell he felt guilty not being able to help his team. Especially during the time they needed him most. Grimlock, you and his team continued towards the autobot base.

When it was safe, grimlock stopped in his tracks. "Take Y/N, back to base. I have another mission to complete..."
Slug looked at you and transformed to his triceratops form. "Hop on, we'll get there quicker." You turned to look at grimlock ignoring slug.

"where are you going? We're almost there. I'm sure your team would like to see you?"

Grimlock transformed to his trex form.
"Just get back to base, I'll meet with you shortly"
He then runs off, worried you looked at slug. Slowly hopping onto his back and riding the rest of the way towards the base.

Grimlock fought his way though a decepticon base, he charged in with his trex form. Igniting those in front of him, as well as stepping on them with his heavy foot crushing their sparks. He was enraged, slaughtering his way he stopped looking towards a walkway.
"Shockwave!"
Shockwave turned looking at him.
Grimlock ran at him but was stopped by an electrical trap.
"Stay there like a good pet..."

Shockwave turned his back walking towards a console, grimlock roared out trying to walk. The trap was struggling to hold him down, it eventually broke. Shockwave turned quickly hearing the snap of his trap. He raised his gun arm pointing it at grimlock only for grimlock to bite down and rip it off. Shockwave yelled out holding his now exposed shoulder.
Grimlock growled tail swiping shockwave away, now injured shockwave transformed and fled the scene...
