Friday Evening

Bakugou looked at Midoriya with very considerate and caring eyes. The emotions behind those eyes only multiplied by the blonde's shining Amber irises.

With a gulp the greenette began his story.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Boa had awoken from it's slumber by the smell of blood. The very much fresh metallic blood of The Hunter. It was now The Boa's turn to make the trek.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"I remember that Christmas. It was the last Christmas we had together and..."

"God..." The greenette had already started to choke up.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Boa, while familiar with the jungle and its very much alive threats, was not at all familiar with what The Hunter called home. The once vibrant jungle was now replaced with the gray streets of the concrete jungle The Hunter was very much made for.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"She was leukemia 'free' according to the doctors so I took her home on Christmas to have a good holiday."

"It was nice. We had fun opening presents together! She had saved a gift for each Christmas she missed while she was in the hospital."

"You didn't visit her on those days?" The blonde asked innocently not knowing how painful the words were to the greenette.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Boa slithered its way through the new place it found itself in.
The most painful part of the new environment was that his transformation power was now replaced with a constant jabbing anytime The Boa tried to use it. Accompanied with the pain would be a very colorful swear The Hunter would yell out when he would be jabbed by a random vine.
It would usually bring The Boa amusement when The Hunter said these things because usually random swings with his machete would follow, but this time it only brought remorse for not being there with The Hunter.
"She always forbade me to see her on Christmas. Always would make the same joke about her having enough snow in her blood anyway."
"Huh?" The blonde was only drawing up dirty thoughts for what snow in the head could mean.
Izuku looked over to the blonde, who was clearly confused to what the greenette was talking about.
"She was talking about the tumors. You know, the things that are built of cancerous white blood cells?"
"Oh! I thought you were talking about something else." Bakugou said with a shit eating grin.
"What? Oh-! Goddamnit Kacchan!" Izuku chuckled out.
"But that day she gave me three extra Christmas presents. They each had something she found I stood for."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Boa was nearing The Hunter but something else had decided to reveal itself as a new obstacle for The Boa.
