"Thanks." Keefe said and rested his forehead against her shoulder. "I needed that." Then he pushed his face into the crook of her neck and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling them into an embrace. Sophie blushed, happy to have such an amazing guy. Keefe pulled back and immediately turned away, either embarrassed or tearing up.
"Alright!" He said; "I'm good now, so let's get to bed." They walked over to the bed and got in comfortably. Sophie took in his room. It was exactly like she saw it before, except she could see the dust on his bedside table. The way the books on his bookshelf looked like it hadn't been touched for so long. Her heart hurt. She had always been told that her room didn't look like her room but imagine what it would be like if you hadn't even been in your room for so long. Maybe because of people in the house. Or maybe because of the memories.
