"You're mad at me, you were mad at Pacifica. I get it." Gideon Northwest said, standing in front of a brunette familiar girl.
"No, I wasn't." Mabel Pines, the girl, stated, glancing at the snow on the floor. "I was just fighting to protect my family, but mad isn't the word."
Mabel wore her usual outfit, but her headband was gone for some reason. Her amulet was finally at sight, she wore it like a brooch under her orange hood jacket, maybe that's why Pacifica took a while to find it. The cold wind blew strongly against them as they glared down at the frozen lake from a small wooden bridge not too high from it.
"You weren't angry at all?" Gideon's question was filled with doubt.
Mabel turned her head to Gideon, her expression was different from the usual quiet and shy girl Gideon had met, and later on, discovered the secret.
"I'm not angry or mad, never was" she paused her sentence, still making eye contact with Gideon until she broke the silence again. "But trust me, Gideon. . ."
