What felt like hours later, the child sat on her bed quietly as the arguing decreased. She fell asleep after a little bit, letting the darkness cover her mind, taking her away from this cruel reality. The next morning she was awoken by someone shaking her shoulder. Her father stood above her, his face blank with expression.

"Come on, we're going on a trip." He says before leaving her room. She glanced at her clock blaring six in the morning. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes, sighing. Her father never went on "trips". She shrugged it off as she dressed in a small blue dress, pulling her hair back in a ponytail, then grabbing a stuffed bunny before meeting her father outside. She was only six, already knowing how to take care of herself.

The car ride was completely silent as her father drove out the city, eventually reaching the woods after an hour or so. She took a nap for a little while longer, only shooting awake when the car stopped.

"Get out.'' Her father demanded, turning off the car. She hopped out of the car taking a look around her surroundings, seeing that they were deeper into the forest. He walks ahead while she trails behind him. Now it's getting darker as he continues walking.

"D-dad? Where are we going?" She carefully asks, only to be met with a glare. Up ahead, she sees a small cabin in a meadow, surrounded by even taller trees. It would have been a beautiful sight if only she didn't feel uneasy about this situation.

"Alright, I need you to stay here for a little bit while I run back to the car to grab something, alright?" Her father says, walking up to the porch of the dark cabin.

"O-okay!" She says slowly.

"I have a present for you, so stay here and be patient. Don't leave this spot." He says. She nods quickly, a little excited that her father has a present for her. The little girl stands on the porch for a few minutes. Those minutes turned into half an hour. That half an hour turned into an hour. She stood patiently, waiting, if only she knew her father was never coming back.

Meanwhile with the creature:

He followed the car as the young girl and male left the city. He traveled by shadow, now curious of where this horrible mad was taking her. He didn't appreciate having to witness such violence against such a young girl. He felt a tick. He was hungry, angry, and irritated. He watched from afar as the two of you walked deeper into the woods. Now sitting in a tree, far from sight he could hear the man tell the girl that he was leaving back to his car to retrieve her present. He didn't like this situation at all. She stood there waiting. He hung and watched.

The man raced back to his car before starting the engine, taking off in a hurry. The creature growled with anger, flowing in rage. His tick was getting worse as he jumped in front of the car. They were a few several miles away from where he left the girl. The car swerved violently, crashing into a nearby tree. The creature doubled in size, his horns now as wide as he was tall, his jaw disconnected, showing off several razor sharp teeth. His eyes turned into the red dials and the area was filled with a horrifying static screech. The man stumbled out of the car terrified as he saw the creature loom over the car, facing towards him with a disturbing smile.

"You would leave a child in the woods, now would you?" The monster says growling. The man screams in fear, running away.

"Ah, ah, ah. You can't run from me," He says taunting the man as he follows slowly behind.

The man hides behind a tree, panting heavily at the sight of the monster. He was terrified. The static sound in the air increases as it gets closer.

"I can smell your fear, you pathetic human. And my does it smell delicious," It says now jumping in front of the man. The monster slashes at the man, tearing his stomach open as his intestines spill out, blood gushing everywhere. The monster laughs in amusement, devouring the man with animalistic intent. The sounds of his screams were cut silent as the monster tore off his head.
