The next six months were in fact not uneventful and boring. Don't jump too far ahead, the months were definitely not fun and interesting. They were more stressful with all the studying and training for the U.A. entrance exams. You also noticed the change in behavior with Izuku and Katsuki. For one Katsuki started to back off from Izuku more from what you could see. Second, Izuku zoned out more and muttered about training and whatnot. There was even an instance in class where he was talking out loud to himself and the teacher had to knock him on the head. And finally, something that was more of a physical change, both of them seemed to have become more muscular, something one could also say about yourself. You assumed that they were also training for the entrance exams.

You already had a good grasp on your quirk and using your scythe, plus the additional enchanted physical abilities. I mean the enchantment wasn't enough for the quirk to be considered a power class but it still gave you a slight advantage. However, the one issue that you had with your quirk was the identified godlike being. It was somehow connected to the whole quirk but you knew very little about it. The last time that you were actually able to see the thing was when you first got your quirk. It said something about always protecting you and being there even when you didn't see it. You really had no idea. Even though you were never able to reach out to the thing, the rest of your quirk was great with no apparent drawbacks! (yet.) So your chance of getting into U.A. was looking up. You mostly spent the six months of training working on your fluidity and movement with the scythe along with general, speed, strength, and Agility training. In terms of studying, you slacked a lot more on that. From what you understood, if you excelled in one of the categories and didn't fail in the other, you had a good shot of making it. Therefore you just had to do really well in the physical part of the exam and not fail the written test. It's not even that you aren't smart, you just didn't care enough to be the known "smart kid". Don't get it wrong, it's not that you didn't study at all, but you probably should study more if you want to pass the entrance exam with flying colors in both sections.

You would go over to Izuku's house to study, very rarely though. For whatever reason, he was set on training without you. You found it slightly suspicious but didn't care enough to dig in. In fact, it was more common that you would be studying with Katsuki than him. And studying with Katsuki was more like you speaking with his mother, him yelling at both of you too, or him screaming at you for not putting in the effort. Another reason that would tick him off would be you just being there because his mother invited you over. He would never invite you over but due to your long history, you were quite close with his mother. She would gladly take you into her household any day. You actually had her number as one of your emergency contacts since your mother didn't pay any attention to you.

The day of the exam you were scared. Not because you were nervous about the exam but because you were not. The night before you ate a balanced dinner, went to bed before 12 am, plugged your phone in, and made sure you had your bag ready. The morning of you had actually gotten up early, brushed your teeth, washed your face, got changed, ate something, and left on time. You felt like you were ready and had everything. You did not feel like you. Even on the train, there was no moment that felt like it 'sank in' or something like that. While on the train you noticed a girl with black hair slicked back into a ponytail also with a bag and school-appropriate clothing. You thought that she was just another snotty-nosed rich kid. But when you both got out at the same stop and were both walking to the U.A. exam you thought again. She is probably still a snotty-nosed rich kid that is trying to get into U.A. on recommendations. (you had no idea if she was getting in on recommendations, you just have great intuition) Some say you're quick to judge, you say it's good to stay cautious of others. There was a hustle and bustle of kids but you didn't seem to catch your eye on either of your childhood friends. They must be late. It seemed that you still had a few minutes until the short lecture of the exam in the auditorium, so you settled on the idea of looking around for a vending machine. If you could find a drink or snack, you wouldn't have to waste time looking for lunch. Finally, it was time for the overview of the exam, so you started to make your way to the auditorium. On the way there, you managed to spot a certain spiky-haired boy.
