Pt. 3

I rubbed the sleep from my eyes as I rolled over, hugging the duvet around me. Based on the amount of sleep i got, it must have been around 11 am. I reluctantly opened my eyes to check and was met with...

Tyler. He looked so peaceful, chest rising and falling, one arm on the outside of the duvet. He must have felt me rolling over because he, still half asleep, took that arm and used it to pull me into him. "Just a few more minutes." In that moment I realized we were both still naked.

"We need to get ready, they're going to be mad," I reasoned, trying to remind him that the group had decided on breakfast the night before.

He opened one eye to look at me. "And they can stay mad. I just want to be here with you for a little longer."

My heart melted a little bit, but he immediately yanked me into his chest again, causing me to yelp. This was when my competitive spirit struck. I pushed back against him and he fully opened his eyes to see me ready for a full-on naked wrestling match. A little smile tugged at the corner of his lips.

"Oh, you think you can win this?" he taunted. "Come at me."

And I did, doing everything i could to try and pin him down or flip him over, but every time I got the upper hand he immediately managed to take it back again. This continued until he ended up on top of me, hands on my wrists, on his knees either side of me.

I gulped. Like, visibly gulped. His eyes flicked from my eyes to my lips before i lifted my head and kissed him myself. His tongue immediately found its way into my mouth. It was a cleaner kiss than the night before, but still hot, lusty, sensual.

After a long while (still not long enough) he pulled away. "We really do need to get ready, huh."

I nodded and tried to ignore the obvious hard-on he was sporting. He released my wrists and rolled back onto the bed, covering his business with the duvet. "I'll avert my eyes."

I laughed and stood up to root through my suitcase for something suitable for breakfast. I settled on a jeans and a sweater, nothing fancy, but i did grab the only matching set of underwear I had. If Tyler was going to be in the room while I got dressed, he needed to at least think I was classy.

I glanced over at him and he was, naturally, gawking at me like a little kid in a candy store. "What? It's nothing you haven't seen before."

     "Nothing, you're just beautiful."

     "Oh, go fuck yourself."

"I'm being serious!" he laughed at me a little. "You're gorgeous."

I waved it off and got dressed as he lurched out of bed and staggered to his own suitcase, putting on jeans and a t-shirt. "So what are we gonna tell them?" he asked.

"Probably nothing, at least for now." I didn't want to deal with Alexandra making fun of me. "I'm just not ready, I want to make sure this is actually something we can pursue."

"Sounds good. Whatever you need, love." He smiled as he sat on the edge of the bed. At 'love', I looked up and made my way to him.

     "Call me that again."

     "Love."

I grabbed him by the face and kissed him again, not really sure where the sudden burst of confidence came from. He pulled me in closer by the waist, hungrily indulging the kiss like it was the last one he'd ever have. It was perfect.

That is, until we were interrupted by loud banging on the door. "Breakfast!" Alexandra yelled, and i motioned to let Tyler out first. I threw on a fake disgruntled expression, as if the mere thought of sleeping in a room with Tyler made it so i couldn't fall asleep.

We walked next door to grab Dan and Ellie as well, having to wait because they are never ready on time. "Guys, come on, we only have like 45 minutes," Alexandra yelled, seemingly with no regard for anyone else in the hotel.

Finally, they came out. Ellie smirked at me for a minute while she joined the group. "What?" I asked whilst lagging behind.

"Nothing."

"It doesn't look like nothing."

Her smile widened. "Nothing at all."

I took my plate down to the table with the others and sat next to Ellie. Dan was on her other side, coffee in hand, probably nursing a hangover. I was lucky enough to never really feel hangovers. Of course, there was a bit of a throbbing ache in the back of my brain, but u completely forgot about the pain as soon as Tyler sat down across from me.

My eyes lingered on him for a second, remembering how he was the night before; hungry for me, barely able to control himself. It made my stomach flip to think about it. His eyes found me too, and that smile i had gotten so used to began to tug at the corner of his mouth.

I quickly looked down at my plate whilst ignoring the conversation everyone else was partaking in. Something about Dan and Ellie's engagement, something about how much we drank last night, something about bringing people home from the bar...

I looked up from my burnt toast to see Ellie very close to me, confident smile faltering. "Did you even hear what I just said?"

I shook my head, and she sighed, "I asked, 'did you bring anyone home last night?'"

"No? I was with you the whole night. When would i even have the time to sneak away to find some one-night-stand?" I looked at her quizzically, a little anxious she somehow knew about me and Tyler. "i just threw up in the bathroom and passed out on the floor."

She gave me another ominous look. "It didn't sound like you just fell asleep..." her voice trailed off, like she was expecting me to just jump in and finish her sentence. My brain lagged for a moment, for some reason not sure what she was even talking about, but she quickly jogged my memory by leaning close into my ear. "Oh, fuck, Tyler, harder," she mockingly whispered, paired with the obligatory faux sex face.

I immediately felt all the blood in my body rush to my face. Fuck. Fuck. FUCK. How did she even know? Did Tyler tell her? Was this just a ploy to get me into bed so he could spread some rumor? I looked to Tyler for reassurance, but he was nonchalantly laughing with Dan.

"Relax, sweetie, you're bright red," Ellie lightly punched my arm. "He didn't blab. This hotel just has thin walls."

"You... heard something?" I managed to squeak out.

"Oh yeah. Big time." She barely held herself back from bursting out laughing. "He's a lucky guy, screamers are hard to come by."

"Oh, shut up!" I yelled a little too loudly, getting Alexandra and Tyler's attention. I waved them off and mumbled an apology before turning back to Ellie, who was biting her finger to keep from cackling at me. "You are the fucking worst," I whisper-shouted at her.

     "I know!!"

"You didn't tell anyone, did you?" Paranoia was starting to set in.

"Oh god no, only Dan knows and he doesn't really care." Her hand landed on my shoulder. "I wouldn't do that to you. I'm glad you're happy, though." She was trying to i get me to admit to a relationship. I was too used to her tricks.

"Ellie..." I warned, and she caved.

"Okay, im glad you got some action. Better?"

"Yes."

"Okay, eat before your food gets cold. You need to have energy for tonight..." she nudged me again, and I barely restrained myself from slapping her. I settled for an uncomfortable chuckle and began to eat.
