Nick's POV
We arrive at the front door of the house and i rang the door bell. We waited for atleast two minutes before the door was answered.
"Nicholas" a familiar voice came from the other end of the door.
I looked up to see who it was and i wish i didn't. it was my brother, David. David started picking on me ever since we were little kids, it only got worse when mum and dad got a divorced. David wasn't too fond of the divorced and started being the prick that he is today.
He didnt really was much of a prick when we were younger. Yes he picked on me but it wasnt that bad and we got along quite well but when mum and dad started foghting each other he blamed it on me. He said things like "its youre fault why mum and dad are fighting" and "if it wasnt for you, mum and dad would still be together and happy" those words of his did had an affect on me. I also started blaming myself on why they kept fighting but mum reassured me that non of it was my fault.
"David" i squint my eyes a little with a glare torwards him.
"Dont look at me like that Nicky, arent you glad to see me after all these years we haven't seen each other? And look you brought youre little gay boyfriend" okay that really pissed me off. No one is allowed to call Charlie that.
I glanced at Charlie and saw that his head was down and he's looking ag the ground.
"Oh piss of David, and your not allowed to call Charlie that" i snapped at him.
"Oh come on Nicky, youre really choosing him over me? Thats not really nice of you" he said in a offended tone, and I didn't like it one bit.
"Whats your problem with my fiancé?" His eyes went wide when i mentioned the last part. He didn't expect that we would get engaged, he thought we were going to break up before uni but boy he was wrong about that.
I shoved him out of the way and held Charlie hand in mine. We made our way to the living room and saw mum drinking tea while looking at her ipad, swiping.
After a couple of minutes mum noticed us and she immediately had a smile on her face as she stood up from her seat to walk over to us.
"Nicky baby" mum says as she pulled me into her tight warm hug that i grew up and loved.
A/n:
I know that this chapter is really short considering the time off that i had from writing.
I got busy okay, i had so many school activities going on the month of february and got distracted.
Hopefully i get back to writing regularly soon but lets see.
