-One Week later-
My breath was shaking as I leaned my head against the wall, Another hit caused my face to jerk to the right, The vile metalic taste of my own blood filled my mouth. I spat it out and wiped my lips on my now blood stained shirt. "Is that all master?" I asked turning my head to meet Claude's face,"Yes, Now leave" He said handing me a clean shirt, I bowed and left the room quickly. While walking down the hall I peeled off the bloody shirt and put the clean one over my head, I burned the bloody shirt in my hand and threw the ash out of the window. "Light into darkness,Love into Hate and joy into fear" I said leaning against a wall holding my side,"all this has happened in a week".
My bruised body slid down the wall and to the floor it fell, My broken body weak as it may look still held power and I shall get out. "We are to run when told, And to fight those who object and never fall prey to weakness" My head drooped to my shoulder as I felt my bruises healing, "Samantha!" i heard Claude shout. I slowly got up and walked into the garden where Claude was, he started kicking Hannah who was on the ground curled up in a ball to protect her body. What I did next was foolish but nessicary, i threw myself infront of Hannah using my body to shield her. Claude Hauled me up by my hair and threw me across the ground, "You dare Defy me Samantha?" He growled. "No Master" I said, "You made no order to prevent me from doing that so there for I didn't Defy you.". He slapped me and had Timber drag me back to my room, Well Claude's room, Timber gave me an apoligetic smile and locked the door behind him.
I walked into the bathroom and started running a bath. I took off the clothes I had been wearing and put them down on the floor,I got into the bath and began scrubbing the blood that was stained onto my body. After I had got most of it off I got out,grabbed a towel and proceeded to dry myself. I put on a nightgown that reached mid-thigh, It's much comfier than the long floaty ones, I pulled back the covers and climbed into the warm bed. I had to sleep with Claude so i couldn't run away in the night. I lay my head down and quickly fell asleep.
When I woke up Claude's arm was around my waist,I grimced and lifted his arm from my waist,I quickly got out of bed and threw on a shirt and trousers, I tied my hair up in a ribbon to keep it out of the way. Taking a deep breath I shook Claude awake,"Master,you have to get up now lord trancy will be up soon" I said pulling back the curtains and handing him his uniform. "Sam, go wake up lord trancy" Claude said putting on his shirt, I nodded and walked out of the room.
"Lord Trancy, It's time to wake up." I said lightly placing a hand on Alois's shoulder, He sat up and rubbed his eyes. "Morning Sam,You know you can just call me Alois.". I started buttoning up Alois shirt,next his waistcoat, "i'm Sorry sir but I must adress you properly or Master Faustus will get angry" I said putting his shorts on and then his socks. Claude entered the room as I finished tying Alois's necktie. "All done young lord" I said standing up and leaving the room, "Samantha." I looked to the side and saw Hannah, "Thank you, Very much" She smiled placing her hand on my shoulder. "No one deserves to be treated that way, Miss Annafellows." I said nodding my head to her and continuing down the hall. I felt something in my waistcoat pocket I pulled it out and smiled sadly at the picture of Sebastian and myself, My expression hardened I crumpled it into a ball casting it to the side I started walking again. I placed my hand on my side missing the feel of the hilt of my weapon, missing the metalic rasp as my blade was drawn and Missing the surge of power as i held the blade in my hands.
I sighed deeply,"Don't forget about me" I said looking at the crumpled ball that was the picture of myself with Sebastian."Because I will forget about you" I picked up the ball and turned it to ash, the powder-like compound fell in flurries to the ground. "Into the the abyss, the bond of demons falls,Never to be recovered, Always to be found." I said dusting off my hands with a grimace. With a light chuckle I walked to Claude's room and sat on the bed,"Sebastian he thinks I love him," I turned my head to the side with a scoff,"I am incappable of love, The stupid Crow doesn't realise, the predditor dosn't fall for the prey". Cats chase Crows, Not Crows chase Cats. I laughed rolled my shoulders and stood up. I pulled a book from Claude's shelf and opened it flicking to the back page, It read.
'My Name is Samantha, I am bound to Claude Faustus by blood and a deal. That deal lasts eternity, too long." I looked at the blood stained page with distain, "I was weak back then" I spat throwing the book down
I fell onto the bed and burried my head into the pillow curling my pale body into a ball I slowly fell into a deep and dark sleep.
