Charlotte's POV :
Clyde came into Lynn's room to help her, even though I'm totally capable of helping
"Tomorrow is my hockey team's championship game- " "Come on Lynn ! I'm fine, I want to help" I cut of Lynn " No, you just passed out and hit your head on the floor, you could've died, literally !"
God, I just passed out for like a second and now she is overprotective over nothing
She turned back to Clyde "I need to come up with the perfect motivational speech to uh- " "motivate them ?" Clyde helped "Yes !"
"See this is why I need you, Mr. Good-with-Words Guy"
She really chose his help over mine ! But I can't be mad at Clyde he's been a great friend to me but that still mad me jealous........ over what... exactly ....?
" let me give you what I got so far" she started of quite then cleared her throat, then came out extremely loud " WE GOTTA WIN THIS GAME YOU SPACE WASTERS !"
Clyde fell over from the shock while I just sat unfazed and a little grumpy
Lynn laughed at him then turned to me "oh stop being pouty already" "I'm not being pouty" I shrugged her off and crossed my arms turning my head away from her direction
Lynn turned to Clyde and helped him get up and out of the room she turned to me once again "I'll get you ice cream if you stop being pouty" she said smirking knowing my love for ice cream
I slowly turned my head to her and got up arms still crossed, face still mad, I walked up to her our faces inches apart backing her up to the door, she looks terrified 😭
I broke my act and smiled jumping in her arms "God you know me so well" I pulled my head away from her shoulders and pecked her right cheek then left the room
Lynn's POV :
Oh god
I just stood there
I just stood there frozen like a complete dork holding my cheek I left to see Char again before Lincon pulled me to the living room where Lana is
"You need your Guinea pig to set a wold record" that was my cue to jump in grunting "You need to practice your motivational speech" he turned around to tell me
"LETS DO THIS" I yelled making Lana yell a "YEAH"
Charlotte's POV :
I left the bathroom then made my way to Lynn's room but before I could get there Lincon ran to me and grabbed my arm pulling me to the kitchen with Lori sitting on a chair
"You need to write your boyfriend a romantic text, Char can help you with it, she's the best at that stuff"
I looked at Lincon glaring at him for lying but played along with it
"I have watched some romcoms with my mom but- " I looked at Lincon, who pointed at me clearing his throat
I sighed giving up "Bobby, how lucky am I that in this infinite universe our souls exist in the same place at the same time ?"
4 minutes later
"Love that is true, love that is real, love that is love" I really outdid myself this time since Lori AND Lincon are crying "oh, Char, that is literally so perfect " cried out Lori
Lynn walked in the kitchen grabbing a soda "God, that was so cheesy" chuckled Lynn,
"shut up" I laughed also getting my self a soda then sat at the counter seeing Lori type in everything I said
"I did it ! I sent the perfect text ! How are you still single Char ? your definitely the dating type !" exclaimed Lori
"Actually I met this guy on my way here in Starbucks and got his number too !" I blushed at the thought of him
"Oh my god I'm so happy for you, make sure he treats you right" Lori pointed her finger at me squeezing her eyes at the last sentence as she left the room, I always saw Lori as an older sister for me, Lincon after her giving me a thumbs up and a sorry look
I got confused but then look back at Lynn and oh boy
Her jaw was dropped she look furious and flabbergasted at the same time it mostly upset
"You ok?" I asked, "am I ok ? Oh yeah I'm more than ok I feel amazing to know that my... best friend met a gUy without telling me !, and who is this gUy anyways, is he good at sports ? What does he do ? Basket ball? Base ball ? Foot ball ? Soccer ? Or even tennis ?!?! What is his hair colour? His eyes ? Is he handsome? Is he taller than me ?!?!?!?" Lynn ranted cringing every time she says gUy I just stared at her trying to comprehend what happened as soon as I noticed her eyes twitching I pulled her in a hug, at first she was stiff but then melted to the hug and hugged me closer to her hiding her face behind my neck
"I'm sorry" I pulled my head back and held her cheek "I should have told you, your right, your my best friend you need to know, and don't worry he's not that much taller than you" I chuckled pulling her back into the hug
Lynn's POV :
I think that it's great that Char had met a guy, but that makes me upset, like really really upset, I want Char to be happy I really do, but I don't want her to be going with this random gUy who I fully don't trust, and once again it not that I don't want her to be happy, it's just that I want us to be enough, I want us to be the ones who always go on ice cream, I want her to be there in my games and I want to be at her cheer practice, I want all of this to stay the same and be more but unfortunately I can't make it more cause of this new stupid GUY
